Oppression (2)

Nahir, Gidan, and the rest of the Eidums were surprised to see Kyran. The former two's reaction could be explained by the fact they knew Kyran had a different role in today's battle. He was supposed to intercept Achim's group at their border's weakest spot. No matter how strong Kyran was, it was impossible for that side's battle to conclude so fast.

During their initial deliberation, they concluded that Achim's group would not start their attack until after the one on the main battlefield was well underway. For this reason, Kyran left ahead of time to get there before Achim's group arrived.

In the end, the confrontation on the main battlefield started earlier than anticipated, prompting Nahir to proceed with their plan ahead of time. It did not affect their overall plan, though. The only change that happened was how long it would take them to fight the main force until Kyran settled the one with Achim's group.
