Chapter 2: Welcome to God's Game

"Boy I wonder who he is and when will I meet him" a youth with glistening and eagerness in his eyes said "guess I have to deal with you now" 

"NO!! NO PLEASE!! please spare my life I will give you all my kami points[1]!!" a suited man pleaded while sobbing 

Hearing this the youth turned and walked away, the suited man heaved a sign of relief and was about to retreat when three sounds resounded in the deathly silence of the forest. 

snap!

crush!!

Sssss!!!

The suited man was crushed leaving a trail of blood, bones and organs. 

 System notification: you have gained 1,000 KP (kami points) do you wish to to trade? 

System notification: requirement reached, you are now level 5 do you wish to improve power? 

The series of notifications left the youth speechless "I got this much from killing that worthless trash" the youth said with a contemptuous smile and a glint of frost flashing across his eyes "he sure is nice today, whatever I need to clean up this mess"

      Meanwhile on a higher plane of existence. 

"Ha, I WIN! now hand over my spoils of the bet" a dark figure blurted out as he saw the corpse of the suited man. 

In this room on the higher plane bets are placed on the lives of the mortals with the an ability or what they call it 'gifts'. Mortals was ignorant of the existence of gods and their power and very few selected ones knew. However they can't stop their fates creating an eternal show for gods. 

For thousands of years conflicts or a much simpler word wars has been a part of human life and history. Therefore Gods decided to grant power to lowly humans for eternal entertainment, slowly bringing the gods game to existence. Because of the ugly nature of humans, the gods created the game and a system to grant more power to who killed. The more you killed the more power you got 

"And Arcedeus better get rid of your player, you know your power is a burden why give it to someone?" The black figure said with arrogance and disdain in his voice, implementing that he is weak. 

"Don't be too quick to judge Arthur or should I say devil, could someone remind me why a lowly fallen god is here" arcedeus said mocking Arthur. 

"You...never mind that how about a bet if you  win I return, if I win you become my servant" Arthur said unperturbed

"Fine its a deal Jojo will definitely win" arcedeus said

. . . . 

Jojo slowly opened his eyes on the bank of the great river " huh, what's this" he said lazily as he saw an almost transparent frame in front of him.

NB: Kami points is Japanese for god points, they are used for exchange and other uses are for it as well.
