chapter 5: Victory

"cough*cough* what happened?" The figure was bewildered at the sight of his broken rib and the sharp pain in his chest, it looks like he blocked out for a while after what happened. He brought himself into a sitting position, slowly looking around. To the right all that could be seen are woods, the trees in a one kilometer radius were leafless from the impact. They seemed taller due to the width deduction, and gave the impression of an haunted forest ready to swallow any thing that comes near, one look could send chills flying down ones spine. To the left he saw Jojo standing in a kendo stance, he was ominous and was radiating killing intent so strong animals felt uncomfortable to stay in this part of the woods. For a second it seemed time had stopped, this intense feeling could cause even plants to gasp.
"What did you do The? How did you hit my gun so instantly? I only needed one more second and the my sub[1] would start shooting but you hit away my gun and not only that you managed to hit my a12 acupuncture[1] point, how did you do it? What is this sorcery?!!" The man on the ground screamed in fear as if he felt death himself standing in front of him, he almost broke into tears "please don't kill me I will give you anything, ANYTHING!!!"
Seeing no change in the face of his opponent clirk (the figure) only felt dispair crawling down his spine, his heartbeat slowed and he started to sweat profusely, while thinking of a way to escape.
"AHHHH!! F***" the figure howled in pain while rolling on the floor "where did you get that bat from"
"Simple I can get any random item in any situation and I got this. Here is a question…" before JoJo finished his sentence he grabbed the figure by his collar "who sent you!"
"Pathetic, you don't even know this much?" clirk scoffed
-fine if I am gonna die you will come with me- clirk thought.
"System activate" clirk said, his hands looked like shadows as he reached for a grenade, he removed pin at lightning speed throwing it at Jojo.
"You think I'm stupid" Jojo said with a frosty voice filled with disdain. Jojo bent at a 90° angle with his foot forward, his muscles bulged and caused a large tear on his pants.
Boom!!
His step caused a massive crater below his leg, he charged at incredible speed creating after images everywhere he stepped. In an instant Jojo was in front of clirk, clirk with his instinct, negated the attack by moving backwards at the critical moment.
-what monstrous precision-
Jojo followed up by jabbing the bat like a spear creating 8 after images, with 6 hitting clirk, afterwrds he (Jojo) spun in a 90° angle and hit clirk's side breaking 3 of his left ribs which then pierced his lung. Clirk vomited a mouthful of blood, he it was like he was hit by a truck and left to die. He was close to death and he knew he couldn't do anything about it, clirk looked at JoJo's face it was expressionless and gave the creeps to anyone near. It was as if he was a doll designed to be void of any feelings and clirk was no more than a fly. This was a great insult to clirk because he hated to be looked down on.
-I still have a method of retaliation- clirk thought
The instant clirk was about to activate his power Jojo broke his arm, clirk had no more confidence Jojo was too strong. All his retaliation was pointless, dispair took over his heart. Death is inevitable in front of JoJo.
"You piece of sh**, you think this is the end? I may not be avenged but someone else will take your life ... we will … not … stop until you end!" He said with his last breath.
"What do you mean?" Jojo asked urgently, he needed to know who wanted to kill him "who is trying to kill me"

Jojo looked at the the notifications but only one caught his eyes "why did I get a skill?"
Jojo moved his slender wounded finger to click the 'yes' option. Jojo felt dizzy as if he was drugged, his vision blurred and his body became immobile. He was basically living his worst nightmare, he was scared until he heard the system notification.
System notification [prepare to enter mind's space]
"Mind's space…. What's… that?" JoJo said before completely blocking out.
