Chapter 10: Flee!!

Shadow ninja was in front off Jojo in the blink of an eye, his speed was unrivaled, this was a problem. He threw a jab in Jojo's chest and swiftly executed a right kick. Each attack thrown by shadow (an abbreviation) was simple martial art but his speed and strength made it almost impossible to counter. Jojo knew he was at a loss against this opponent, the speed and strength shadow shadow used was at perfect compatibility with each other. Jojo had no other choice but to use system raffle however the system notification resounded in his ears.

"F***!! why am I only knowing this now, Activate!" Jojo was in pain from the attacks thrown by shadow, fresh blood spilled from his mouth and ears. There was a sharp pain in his chest and multiple cut wounds on his face, shadow's fist were like blades cutting across his face and each attack would leave a perfect cut mark. Jojo knew that he was being toyed with but the only thing he could do is to wait for the activation of mind's state, this was his only hope of defeating the highly trained assassin.

the time was creeping by slowly, in his desperate state JoJo felt like hours have past. each second shadow could deal 10 moves and at least 6 would hit JoJo.

- damn it, I'm gonna die before this activates - JoJo was frustrated at how slow the timer went, he already had no way to counter attack because of the relentless fists and kicks thrown his way but now shadow was able to break his defence and land deadly blows.

seeing the timer about to hit zero, Jojo bent down with his leg outwards and spun forcing the ninja to retreat briefly then he swiftly stood up with his right leg forward and his arm bent to a 90° angle. He bulged his muscles and made and enormous leap leaving behind a crater where he stood, he was heading straight for shadow.

the sound of metal ringing resounded, shadow defended against Jojo's punch by using his stainless steel daggers. Unfortunately he was sent flying from the impact of such a large force, he the force sent him flying through 3 trees. shadow almost broke his back, his eyes was frosty as he got up like a dead man walking, his arms and face was looking towards the ground and the killing intent he radiated was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

"YOU F***ING BASTARD, I'M GONNA KILL YOU" the ninja suddenly got enraged as he took the knife from his waist and pounced at Jojo, his speed and strength was unlike before and each swing of the knife could create a stream off wind sharp enough to cut Jojo's skin.

Jojo was happy when he heard that but his instincts only told him to do one thing.

FLEE!!

Jojo turned and started to run for the river when he had a eerie feeling down his neck, shadow used the flying kick and hit Jojo in his nape and took away his consciousness. Jojo was sent flying into the river where he was carried down stream.

"that lucky bastard, next time I will kill you for sure" shadow said with a sadistic smile on his face, he turned and walked to the large willow tree and took up the iPhone. He left swiftly with no trace once again.

"He actually messed up and let that scoundrel escape!!" a figure exclaimed when he saw the end of the battle.

"damn now how am I gonna win if it's a draw " another figure said.

"Jojo didn't win and he didn't lose but I'm gonna call this a win for Jojo he escaped a higher realm after all, I think I speak for every body when I say Jojo is skilled" Arcedeus

said with a proud voice and traces of boast could be found.

No ordinary player could stand against a higher realm player, not to mention someone who just joined. shadow was exceptionally skilled at martial arts and could easily take the role of head master of the xiao clan with ease but a nobody like JoJo managed to fight shadow for so long it was truly frightening.

- I hope they don't find out the truth about Jojo if they do havoc would be inevitable - Arcedeus was taken aback when he thought about JoJo.
