As the auctioned finished Faridah saw Anthony coming over to them. Yet Keteki stopped him.
"Why are you blocking my way Keteki!" He asked angrily as Keteki smiled.
"I don't think the Madame wants to talk to you now," Keteki said as Anthony glanced at Faridah laughing as Kyle's face was red as an apple.
"She said they were just friends, Why the hell would she fvcking give him the most expensive stone in the world?!" Anthony asked. "It looked like she was asking his hand for marriage! I bet that boy doesn't even have any richness to offer to Faridah." He said as Keteki just looked at him and his pathetic acts.
"I suggest for you not to meet my madame again," Keteki said as Anthony smirked. "Knowing she's here I bet you I will." He said daring Keteki as he left.
"It really looked so good in your hand," Faridah said as Kyle blushed. Faridah smiled seeing Kyle's reaction.
"Ahhh! Faridah what the fvck are you doing here?!" Roselyn Lim said, She was the sister of Anthony Lim and was stunned seeing Faridah.
"You're the person who bought the blue diamond right?" She asked as she looked around her hands yet it wasn't in her hand but in Kyle's hand.
'Looking at this guy I bet he's a big shot since Faridah is with him but he looked humble looking down.' she thought as Faridah saw how Roselyn made Kyle uncomfortable.
"A three million ring for a lover, You're really something else Hamilton." She said as she laughed.
The Guiled Family with the Ferris family arrived Calista was shocked to see Faridah and Kyle.
"Let's go," Faridah said as she took Kyle's hand and Keteki opened the car door for them.
"What do you mean the blue diamond was sold?! Who the hell could afford such expensive stone?!" Mr. Guiled asked as he was furious because the only reason why he made a deal with the Ferris family was because they tracked the location of the blue diamond and now it's gone.
"Who the hell brought it?!" He asked again as Anthony Lim smiled.
"A girl in a t-shirt." He answered that he is not allowed to expose the buyer's identity.
'This is a mess! Faridah went all over London to mess up our partnership with Mr. Guiled. That b*tch!!!!' Calista thought as she was furious about it.
"Fvck it!" Mr. Guiled cursed and left Anthony's Office.
Nestled in the heart of London, Celestial Flavors stood as a beacon of luxury.
The exterior, a striking blend of classic architecture and contemporary design, drew the gaze of passersby, while the gentle glow of golden lights hinted at the culinary magic within.
As Faridah and Kyle entered, they were greeted by a hushed elegance. The soft sounds of a live pianist filled the air, setting a tranquil tone.
The hostess, clad in a sleek black dress, welcomed them with a gracious smile and led them to their table. A plush, intimate booth draped in sumptuous velvet.
The interior was a feast for the senses, with chandeliers dripping with crystal, lush greenery accentuating the space, and artful decor that celebrated both modern and traditional styles. Each table was adorned with crisp white linens and delicate floral arrangements, enhancing the feeling of opulence.
As they settled in, Kyle admired the menu, which was a curated masterpiece featuring seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets.
The selections included a variety of dishes that showcased both British classics and international influences. Faridah's eyes sparkled with excitement as she perused the options.
After a moment of deliberation, she chose the lobster bisque followed by the pan-seared sea bass, while Kyle selected the slow-cooked lamb shank, his palate ready for an adventure.
When the first course arrived, it was presented with theatrical flair. The waiter, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, poured the velvety bisque tableside, the aroma rich and inviting as Keteki tasted it and approved.
Faridah smiled and took her first sip, the flavors dancing on her tongue, and her expression of delight was unmistakable.
With each subsequent dish, they marveled at the artistry of the presentation and the symphony of flavors. The lamb shank was tender and succulent, served with a rosemary-infused jus that elevated the experience. Between bites, they exchanged stories, laughter echoing softly around them, creating a cocoon of warmth in the upscale ambiance.
For dessert, they indulged in the restaurant's signature Eton mess, an elegant twist on the classic, featuring layers of fresh berries, creamy mascarpone, and meringue, artfully arranged on a plate. As they savored the sweet finale, Faridah raised his glass of sparkling champagne for a toast, her eyes reflecting the twinkling lights above.
"To unforgettable evenings," she said, her voice laced with warmth.
With the London skyline sparkling beyond the restaurant's grand windows, Faridah and Kyle felt like they had stepped into a dream. In that luxurious haven, time drifted away, leaving only the exquisite flavors, the lavish service, and the promise of new adventures ahead.
Keteki didn't forget to taste every food that was being served cautiously as he stood next to Faridah like a loyal servant.
"No need to be cautious Keteki, sit down and have dinner with us," Faridah said as Keteki immediately followed her orders.
"Ma'am, shall I find out more about the Ferris?" Faridah stared at Keteki. "Let's not talk about business stuff here Keteki and enjoy our dinner." She said as Keteki sighed and nodded knowing that Faridah didn't want Kyle to get involved.
"I saw Calista at the auction house and I bet she saw us too, Are they going to buy some painting there?" Kyle asked as Faridah smirked.
'More likely they are there for your Blue Diamond. I bet Mr. Guiled is mad about this already.' She thought as Faridah shrugged.
"Let's forget about it and enjoy our dinner," Faridah said as Kyle nodded but couldn't shrug the part that when Calista looked at them she looked furious.
In the hotel room where the Ferris Family and Guiled Family are staying.
The dimly lit study room was filled with tension, the kind that clung to the air like a storm waiting to break. Calista paced the floor, her sharp heels echoing off the polished marble. Her eyes, usually calm and calculating, were ablaze with frustration.
Calista's voice raised. "How could this happen, Father? How could we let the Blue Diamond slip right through our fingers?"
At the large oak desk sat Mr. Ferris, his hands steepled in front of him, a deep frown etched across his face. Across from him, in a velvet armchair, Mrs. Ferris sat in a composed but stiff silence, her gloved hands resting neatly on her lap.
Mr. Ferris answered in a cold, measured "Calista, enough. I'm handling it."
Calista stops in her tracks as her voice is bitter.
"Handling it? Mr. Guiled is furious! He only signed the partnership because we promised him the Blue Diamond. And now, some unknown bidder has outmaneuvered us!"
Mrs. Ferris interjected softly. "We didn't anticipate that the ring would be sold so soon. We still have assets and influence—"
Calista cut her off. "But none of that matters now! Mr. Guiled was clear: the Blue Diamond or no deal. Do you think he's the type to tolerate failure?"
The door to the study creaked open, and the Ferris family's butler, Harrison, entered quietly.
Harrison cleared his throat
"Sir, Mr. Guiled is requesting an immediate call. He—"
Calista cut him off her voice sharp as a knife "Is furious, We know!"
Harrison bowed slightly and exited, leaving the room heavy with silence once more.
Mr. Ferris exhaled, calm but deadly serious.
"Enough, Calista. I'll speak with Guiled. I still hold leverage he needs, he's not going to walk away from the Ferris name over a single purchase."
Calista is skeptical. "He might, if he believes we've lost control. You know how he is. This ring meant more to him than any of us realized. It's not just a gemstone to him, it's... something personal."
Mrs. Ferris tilted her head slightly, her gaze flicking toward her daughter.
Mrs. Ferris said softly. "Personal or not, we still have time. If we can find the buyer, perhaps we can make a counter-offer. Not all is lost yet."
Calista folded her arms, glancing toward the window, the faint glimmer of city lights in the distance.
Calista quietly, more to herself. "That ring is our last thread holding this partnership together... If we don't fix this, the Ferris name might not mean anything at all."
Mr. Ferris stood, adjusting his cufflinks with deliberate calm.
"Then, we'll fix it. I'll speak with Guiled. You, Calista, get me the name of the buyer. Whoever they are, they've just made themselves a target." Mr. Ferris said.
The tension in the room thickened as Calista nodded, her resolve hardening. The Ferris family wasn't going to go down without a fight.
"I think I knew who purchased that Diamond Ring and she must be out of her mind," Calista said smirking as she drank a couple of wine.
