Chapter 53: Willow

After her brother said goodbye, she tossed the phone onto her bed as she stood, dreading the fact that she needed to occupy her time until six that night. Of course, she could stay in bed all day dreaming about her upcoming evening with Benson. As much as she might like keeping motivated that way, however, it wasn’t very productive, and she hated being idle as much as she hated talking to people. The truth was, she preferred being alone, and outside of Marissa, she really didn’t have too many friends. She even preferred living alone. It allowed her the fantasy of bringing people home without having them watch her father walk to the fridge in the middle of the night in his ripped boxers. It kept her from having to see it as well.
