He smirked and looked down at her, a devilish smile in his eyes that set her nerves frantic. 

"Since you find my servants unsuitable to serve your needs, you might be the best person to serve them yourself."

"Ex... excuse me?!" she spluttered in shock. 

"Dimitri. she will be washing her clothes herself and will be cleaning her room as well." he said turning to his most trusted servant. “I am quite sure she is capable of running her bath and dressing herself... "

"How dare you?... " she asked harshly at the insult. 

"Would you like to prepare your meals and perhaps do the dishes as well?" Kieran asked looking back at her with a glint in his eyes. 

But she remained silent and shocked beyond belief. 

"I thought as much. Well we will be leaving you to your chores." he said stepping on her clothes as he walked out with the maid and Dimitri. 

"And by the way," he said stopping just outside the door. "I'd hate to see my castle looking untidy. So unless you wish to face the consequences, I suggest you do a good job."

This time he walked off without stopping and the sound of her screeches echoed off the walls.

Burning Hatred: Entwined Destinies

Clarissa and Martha had to make another trip to the market the very next day. As usual Dante and Raphael were with them.

There were so many orders to make and many more things to buy. This had to be one of the biggest parties that had ever been held in the vampire kingdom since the segregation from the human kingdoms.

Mr Nelson had informed Clarissa that her gowns were ready and she first of all made a pit stop on the way to check the clothes.

They were even more beautiful than she'd imagined.

The man was without a doubt a fashion genius.

She wasted no time in assigning her ball gown to him and also made sure to remind him of the clothes Kieran had made donations for. They were to be worn by the less privileged families who were invited to the party.

The gowns would be returned to Mr Nelson's store where they could be loaned to others for a lesser price.
