Chapter 7

"I'm shocked," Sirius said, "we survived."

"It wasn't hard. You're a great archer. Super accurate."

Sirius laughed and looked away. They kept walking and, eventually, they were back.

Sirius held the door open for Rosa and she walked in, followed by Sirius shutting the door. A man yelled above the noise of the crowd, "Look at these crazy people, they made it back alive!" The place exploded into cheer.

"These two took the job and survived! The last 17 people who attempted it all died!" Somebody said to them.

Rosa looked at Sirius, who just shrugged. "Below," Sirius said, "there is a place that holds money. 'Safest place to hold money. Nobody would try to steal from this place." Sirius led Rosa to the stairs and down into the basement below. The place was well lit. There was a big, open training space with a wide variety of things for exercise and conditioning of the limbs.

They continued walking until they reached an arch leading to another room. They walked in and up towards the desks at the back of the room. Sirius placed his bags on the table. "6 million. Sirius." The man nodded, taking the bag, and walked into the back.

"I've never seen you around here before," the man in front of Rosa said.

"I'm new," Rosa told the man.

"That explains it. What's your name?"

"Rosa." The man jotted her name down.

"And how much will you be depositing?"

"6 million aureus."

"Big load," He said with a smile.

"Yup," She said, smiling back. The man walked to the back with the slip of paper and her money bag. Sirius pointed to the arch door with his head, signaling to go back upstairs.
