ALEX’S POV

In three hours, the media launch will about to start. I am swamped since I’m handling the Sales and Marketing department; I am fully in charge of this event.

I need to check the venue, sound system, video presentation, gadget display (both dummy phone and commercial phones), brand ambassador/s, food, media, and our clients or cellphone dealers. Who wouldn’t be busy with all of these?!

But I must say that I am enjoying this kind of pressure and load of work. I feel like I am feeling weak when I am not doing anything.

"Ma'am, good news." I can see the excitement on Janet’s face.

Janet is one of my top account managers.

I’m sure that what she is about to tell me is good news. I can’t wait to hear it!

"What's the good news, Janet?" Trying to act cool.

“SK Telecom already confirmed that they would join this event!” She said excitedly.

My eyes widen from her news. That is good news! We are wooing that account for a very long time, and they hard to deal with.

But what do you expect?! They are the number 1 cellphone dealer not just here in the Philippines but in Asia. South Korea is their main head office.

“Wow, Janet, that is good news! Finally, all our hard work paid off!” I can’t hide my excitement.

"Okay, Janet, I want you to focus on that account let your people entertain your other accounts. I will also accompany you."

“Yes, Ma’am. I’m very nervous because I heard that they have a newly appointed CEO. After all, Mrs. Lee already went back to Korea. She will now focus on their main office. Her nephew will be the one who will manage their branch here in the Philippines.

“Really? Do you have any idea who is their new CEO?” I asked.

“No news yet. We will meet him later. Even the other brands haven’t met the new CEO of SK Telecom. But I heard that the new CEO is so handsome, he looks like a Korean artist!”

I just shook my head. Janet is always like that when it comes to handsome men.

The program is about to start.

I went to Janet to ask her for an update.

“Janet, do you have feedback about Mr. Lee? Is he here already?” I asked.

“I already talk to his assistant, as per him his boss suddenly has an emergency meeting. But he will surely come. He will arrive late.”

"Copy, thanks." I nodded then I went to Elaine.

"Elaine, I want you to delay the AVP for Sapphire's newest product. We can have a special number first before that AVP. We are expecting a special client today. I'll give you a cue when to play the AVP. Got it?”

"Copy, Ma'am."

After a few instructions, I went to the side of the stage. I am with Liz to give a short speech.

After I give a short message, I immediately pick up my phone to check Janet.

"Janet, any feedback?" I asked.

“Yes, Ma’am. He is in the parking lot already. He is now on his way to the venue.”

"Copy Thanks." After I talked to Janet, I went to Elaine to give her some updates about the program.

I'm going in Janet's direction when I saw her talking to two men. I recognize the man on her right. I already met him when I went to a product launch of one of our competitors to research about their former CEO. So it only means that the other man is Mr. Lee. I can’t see his face yet because he is still talking to Janet. All I can see is his back.

‘In fairness, he already looks hot with his back view. I hope that he is handsome to give justice to his back,’ I told myself.

He has a nice built. He looks like he spends time going to the gym. His black slacks and white long sleeve rolled up to suit him.

Janet already notices my presence. My eyes widen when I finally saw the man’s face.

"Ma'am, this is Mr. Bryan James Lee, the new CEO of SK Telecom, Mr. Lee this is Ms. Alexandria Ramirez, our Sales and Marketing Director."

"Nice to finally meet you, Ms. Ramirez" he winked at me.

"Bryan? You are Mr. Lee of SK Telecom?"

He smirked. "The one and only."
