Chapter Nineteen: Elize New Neighbour

"You're great at cooking, East," says Lindsey.

Don't make a fool of yourself, Linds. He only preheats the ready-to-cook food. ” Said Elize. "Judge his cooking later because he's going to make us lunch."

East and Lindsey laughed. Elize raised her eyebrow and went on eating.

“Are you going to stay here as well, East? On the weekends, you know. ” Said, Lindsey

East has turned towards Elize. "If the owner says yes, why not?"

“If you're going to serve me while you're here, why not? It's just, you know, weekends. ” Elize says not looking at East

East's smile widened, Lindsey's smile was simple.

“Sure, housework? You know I'm capable of that. Even laundry, it's no big deal to me if you include your underwear with laundry, so you'll know how good I am at doing laundry. ” Said East wink a wink

"'I'm not crazy enough to do it. Perhaps when I put my underwear in the laundry room, and you're going to wash it, I'll suddenly get pregnant when I wear it. I don't mind washing my clothes." Elize said without a single smile.

East laughed at what Elize said.

“As I wish I could get you pregnant, I will never allow you not to marry me. The question is, how? I don't think I can crawl or force you? Because I love you." Said East

Elize just shook her head. If she didn't know East, she could be like Lindsey, fascinated by everything East said. Elize stood in surprise at both friends.

"I'm just gonna have a shower." Said Elize.

"Oh, I can wash you as well!" East joked.

"I can cut your p***s too, you know!" Said Elize

East laughed. Then she went outside the kitchen.

"That's why you gave me the breakfast you prepared because you don't want to eat?" Trans asked.

He and Dark are in a room together. It's like a gym at Dark's house because instead of bricks, he uses a glass wall. Dark is also complete with gym amenities such as a six-pack exercise machine, weight bench, treadmill and elliptical cross trainer. Dark house is fully air-conditioned that's why Trans always visits him there.

Dark has been on the treadmill for several minutes while Trans is on an elliptical exercise.

"Why didn't you enjoy the food you ate?" asked Dark.

He was staring outside the house. At the house next to his, he noticed the woman climbing the stairs. The rest of the house is also a glass wall and it is surrounded by outdoor video surveillance. Dark smiles a little.

'If the thief can get in, well, he might be like us.' Dark thought

"What do you say, Dark?" asked Trans.

"Are you telling me something?" asked Dark.

Trans scratched his head. "You never listen to me."

"We got a match next weekend, do you want to watch with Auie?" said Dark.

"Would you like us to watch?" said Trans in shock.

"I'll let you have the ticket tomorrow," said Dark.

That's going to make Auie happy. Free date. ” Trans said weakly

Dark shook his head when he heard what Trans said.

Elize walked right into her spy room. She wants to know what happened after she helped Arturo and the others.

She put on the headphones, on a monitor she checked the recordings, but she was surprised to see not Arturo, but Gavin Elizalde. The guy was standing in front of the room, and he was looking at it. What happened that night came to her mind all of a sudden. For an unexplainable reason, she was suddenly nervous, as her heart beat faster. Without blinking, she looked straight at the man. Elize felt the heat on her face when the guy touched his lip.

'Was he thinking of what went on in that room that night? Why? ’ Elize thought

Another man came into the office. He said hello to Gavin and they sat on the sofa. Khali raised the volume. She was interested in what they were talking about.

"Nothing. I get bored in my condo. ” Said, Gavin

The man he was talking with was laughing a bit.

"Get bored or do you remember her?” he joked.

"Because I can't seem to forget her," said Gavin.

There was a certain amount of excitement Elize felt about what Gavin said.

"Man, I like how he kissed me that night." Said Gavin. "There's something in her kiss, that's why I couldn't forget her."

"So instead of giving her up to the police or dragging her to the guard, you kissed her?" The guy laughed at Gavin.

"Yeah, she's different." Gavin says, "She's definitely,"

You got so fixated on her. She can be ugly with big eyes, or she has plenty of pimples. ” he said to Gavin.

“With her perfect curve, her soft sweet lips, her addicting feminine scent? I guess she's not. I consider her beautiful. ” Gavin replied. "She has such a smooth face like soft feathers."

"It's not like that, man, you just kissed her. You haven't seen her. She would be transgendered. One more thing, you have no idea, she might ... ” said the man while looking around. "She took something here or planted a bomb. You'll never know."

"I am not sure. I don't want to think of anything. ” Said, Gavin

"How can that woman be the only thing you've been thinking about for a couple of days?" says the guy.

"I want to meet her, Rhodz," told Gavin.

Elize swallowed. She couldn't believe the things she was hearing. She reached for her chest. Her heartbeat incessantly as though she were running in a competitive chase field.

'How am I supposed to feel like this?' Elize thought

She was surprised to hear a scream from the stairs. She hurried out of the room and ran to Lindsey. She knew her friend's voice. She and East approached Lindsey around the same moment. East is from the kitchen and Elize is in the room.

"What's the matter?" asked East.

"Why do you scream?" asked Elize.

"Isn't that Dark?" said Lindsey anxiously.

"What?" ridged forehead says East.

From the glass wall, they got to see the guy, topless while running on the treadmill.

"He's handsome," said Lindsey, holding East and Elize's arm together.

"Dark is your neighbour?" East asked Elize.

"Yes, why haven't you told me?" said Lindsey.

"I don't notice that anyone is already living there and for your information, I don't know who this guy is." Said Elize. "It's time to take a bath."

Elize gave a slight look at the man from the other house. She smiles a bit.

‘He' handsome!’ Elize thought

Dark noticed that in the other house, two women and one man were staring at him. He even frowned when he saw the man's familiar face.

"Dark."

Dark looked at Trans. He's got Black cards

"It's morning," Dark complains.

"You know that each second many people die in this world." Says Trans.

Dark switched off the treadmill, then wiped off the sweat and approached Trans. He took six black cards and went through them one after the other.

"I already told this one, the stubbornness," Dark said

“Why? Do you know anyone who died? ” Trans asked

No response from Dark. Instead, Dark put the Black Card on the table and went directly to the restroom.

Dark immediately removed his undergarments. After that, he opened the shower. The cool water's out of the shower. Dark closes his eyes. Another friend has threatened to say goodbye. Next month, their team and the whole university will probably be in mourning.

Lucian, Alexa and their granny are having breakfast. Their grandmother was also a former guardian, she was known throughout their lot at the time. But despite her popularity, she chose to settle down. She also served humanity for thousands of years.

"Are you all right, granmamita? Do you sense something? ” Alexa asked

Lucian looked at the old woman.

"I think Boss G and I will get together," said the old woman.

"Grandma, I'm happy when it happens,” says Alexa.

Lucian smiled. If in a normal human creature, he might get offended by what Alexa said. But for our angels, that's one of their dreams, to be back with Boss G. Eternal peace and contentment is a dream for anyone, whether human or angel.

"Are you thinking about meeting Grandfather Aniston in heaven?" Asked Alexa. "Grandpa being a reaper doesn't stand in the way, does it?"

The old lady is smiling. “I can't say, I might be ahead of him. But if he was already there, he just deserved to be there. He is too good to be a reaper. ”

That doesn’t mean the reaper is an evil angel. But as settlers and living in the world of people, their job was hard. Especially since they became closer to the people they would pick up to cross to their destination.
