Chapter Eighteen: East True Feelings

“Whoa! Seriously? I want to meet this woman." says Alexa.

Lucian had just gone to the bath. He was a little surprised to see Alexa sitting on the bed. Lucian notices that Alexa gets very excited every time he returns home after seeing Elize. She even asked him to tell the story of what happened the whole day when he and Elize were together.

"I suppose you admire her so much, Alexa," said Lucian.

"I think she's cool, brother. She's like every woman I see in a movie. ” Said, Alexa

Lucian didn't say a word, he took his T-shirt out of the closet and put it on.

"How's that, she's already seen you?" Alexa asked

Lucian hasn't responded yet, instead, he looked out the window. He found a creature staring at him from the outside.

"What are you looking at, brother?" Alexa asked

"We're being watched," Lucian said. He turned to Alexa. It's best to help Granny prepare breakfast. It's nearly 5:00 in the morning. ”

Alexa smiled. "Okay, brother."

Alexa rushed off the room. Lucian recognized the creature watching from the roof of the other house. He sat there as though he enjoyed what he was doing by looking at him.

'Boss G, what is this angel up to?' thought Lucian.

Elize was surprised when she heard a voice coming from outside her home. There's a microscopic camera and a microphone around the door, and he was connected to a speakerphone and a monitor in her spy room.

She was about to get up when she felt the weight of the object on her leg. She turned towards her right and saw East, he was sound asleep. She stared at his face, then smiled slightly. Then she slapped his cheek lightly. East moved then turned his back on her while still sound asleep.

Elize is proud of how kind East is to her. He hasn't taken advantage of her. That's why whenever he tells her how he feels, Elize feels guilty because she has no romantic feelings for him. She considers him a sibling. Because they may have grown up together into the hands of a cruel destiny.

"She said I came here, but she wasn't picking up the phone."

Elize looked out on the porch in her room. Lindsey's on the other side of her house. She texted Lindsey this morning to visit and spend Elize weekend with her. She arose at once and made her way to the veranda.

"Linds!" She shouted

Lindsey looked out on the porch in Elize's room. She smiled and gave her regards.

"Get in!" cried Elize.

“Your gate is closed. Come down! ” Lindsey shouted

Elize smiled, held something dark and was pointed towards the door, and soon it opened. Lindsey went straight into the house. Bit by bit the gate locked.

Elize gave Lindsey a big hello. She invited Lindsey to stay with her for the weekend.

"Your house is awesome, Liz!" said Lindsey, stunned.

Elize, wouldn't say anything, she'd smiled. One of the things Elize learned during her training on the Island was to use technology. She set up the remote control program. For easier work when she enters the car in the garage. 360º security cameras are available all over the house.

“Mama sent out snacks and veggies. She says it's an embarrassment if you feed me here. ” Lindsey said she frowns.

"It's all right with me," says Elize.

They went through the kitchen. Lindsey checked the other side of the kitchen. She was surprised by the beauty and high technology of Elize's kitchen. The kitchen corner came up out of the ground. Elize put it in Lindsey's bag. Even Elize's utensil purse suddenly came off the wall.

"You have a beautiful house," says Lindsey.

Elize just smiled. “Let's cook the vegetables you brought for lunch later. Someone will prepare this for us. ”

Lindsey frowned. "Have you found a maid yet?"

Elize laughed. "What breakfast would you like? Is it Filipino style? ”

"Yeah, tapsilog!" said Lindsey cheerfully

(Tapsilog is a condensation of the words “tapa, sinangag at itlog” (tap-si-log) which translates to beef tapa, garlic fried rice, and egg. This dish often enjoyed with a generous portion of sinangag (garlic fried rice).

"I only got here is prepared to cook food Linds, is that okay?" Elize asked.

"Of course. Even if it's poisonous, I'll eat it for you. ” Said, Lindsey. "This is how I appreciate your friendship!"

Elize laughed at what Lindsey said.

"El, I'm sorry!"

Elize and Lindsey turned around when East opened the galley door. East seemed surprised to see Lindsey, as did Lindsey.

"You're up," said Elize.

Elize transferred the coffee out of the coffee maker. Smiling, the East approaches Lindsey and pinches her nose, which surprises Lindsey, then the East moves straight towards Elize. He put both hands on the corner in front of Elize. Elize was between the two muscular arms of East. Elize looked at East which was only a handful away from each other's faces. Lindsey used her hand to cover her mouth.

"Aren't you mad at me?" East asked Elize in earnest.

"What would I be angry about?" asked Elize.

"Because we slept together on your bed last night," said East.

‘Did they sleep next to each other?’ Lindsey thought

“What should I be mad for? Nothing happened to us. ” Elize replied.

East smiled. "How can you be so sure that nothing happens to us?"

Elize smirked. "Because I still had my underwear on when I woke up."

East laughed. "What if I told you I was the one who made you wear your underwear after what happened to us?"

"I don't believe you," told Elize.

From the remote control held by Elize, a 32-inch TV went out of the wall. You'll be able to see what happened between the time they drank in the kitchen and Elize's room.

The East and Elize were happy as they walked closer to the stairs. When Elize entered her room East followed. There was a pillow between the two and they immediately fell asleep as their bodies lay on the bed.

East scratched his head. "You are different, El. There's a camera everywhere in the house. ”

Elize turned to Lindsey. "I know you're thinking, so you've seen the video."

Lindsey laughed. “You are very clever, Liz. And to you East, you're still gentleman when you're drunk. Two thumbs up for you”

East smiled. "When you love someone, you respect them."

"So, you like Elize?" Lindsey asked in shock.

“Maybe, that's enough. You cook our breakfast, East. At least you can offset my kindness because I let you stay with my home. ” Elize replied.

East is laughing hard. “Look at this friend of yours, Lindsey. I haven't had an answer yet, but I'm under her thumb right now. ”

Lindsey laughed.

"Yes, we are okay. I guess that's the way women are, they're hard to figure out. ” Said, Trans

Trans sits in the chair as Dark cooks breakfast.

“I've heard about your mission. How come there are so many souls?" Trans asked.

"Aza's causing trouble again," said Dark.

“Why? Nothing else he can do?" Trans shook his head. "Who is this poor angel he wants to suffer for his mission? ” Trans asked

"I guess the keeper is Lucian. Because Aza messed up their situation earlier. ” Said Dark

Trans took a break from drinking coffee. "There's something about the name."

Dark placed on the table what he had prepared. It's fried bacon, eggs, fried rice. Dark also put a plate in front of Trans and sat down on the other side of the table.

"I remember, he was Vanessa's keeper alias Elize," said Trans.

Dark frowned. "Didn't I tell you that there is one reprehensible person who is always in the midst of death and life?" said Trans.

"The undercover agent?" asked Dark.

"Yeah, she is," said Trans.

Dark remembers both agents that were with Lucian earlier.

“So these are the two officers who were properly trained earlier.” Dark thought.

Dark saw it all a while ago. He stunned the girl named Elize.

'East, our team's new goalkeeper is a secret agent. Interesting! ' Dark thought with a smile.
