Preparing

After parting with Harry and Hagrid at noon. Joe returned to his shabby house. Even if he knew his family left him with a lot of money, he didn't move out since he about to go to Hogwarts anyway.

"Derby, since I'm going to Hogwarts. You must be going there too, right?" Joe asked him.

"Yes, Master." Derby stood at the side of the dining table waiting for Joe to finish his dinner.

"Then can you promise me not to overwork yourself? No, it's an order. Also, buy yourself a nice bed to sleep in. Blanket if you have to. Since it's not consider clothing, it should be safe, right?" Joe emphasizes the term clothing to have Derby calmed down.

"Yes, Mr. White." He nodded while smiling from ear to ear. Since it was an order, he can't go and disobey the order.

"Then, I will be staying in my room. Wake me up two hours before the train starts moving." Joe went to his room with a calmer demeanor.

Everything was felt like a dream to him. But he still trying to calm himself and try meditating on his bed.

He sat cross-legged, finding a comfortable position, and started controlling his breath.

'Start meditating.'

He commanded the system in his mind.

The number slowly went up, including his meditation mastery level.

After using the skill Meditation, Joe finally knew the use of it. He stopped when his mana reaching two digits and started the Mana Manipulation skill.

From his observation, Meditation increased his mana capacity while Mana Manipulation increased his efficiency of using mana and controlling it. It's a strange phenomenon that hard to describe but needed to be done.

Joe wanted to stand at the top of the Wizarding World. Seeing all the magical things in this world. Thus, he needed power the most. Since he knew the darkness is still looming all around him.

In the end, he spent almost the entire night meditating and only have the number up to 12 since he stopped for quite some time to use Mana Manipulation.

"Mr. White, you have to go now." Derby opened the door and woke him up from his short sleep.

After struggling for several minutes, Joe finally woke up.

"Hah~... I'll see you in Hogwarts, Derby. Be careful and remember my orders." Joe smiled after he was getting ready to leave. He saw Derby smiling one last time before he used the Apparition spell away from the house.

"Now, I should go too." Joe opened the door of his house and strafe through the road. Walking down to the station with a ticket in hand, given by Derby.

"King's Cross Station..." Joe muttered the name of the station and double-check the name is the same as the ticket he brought. After making sure, he had arrived in King's Cross Station where he had to board.

Joe looked around him and find a place to eat his breakfast first near the entrance. The reason for that appeared after he waiting for some time.

"Hagrid, Harry!" He called up to both of them. Everything was planned up before they went on their way, the day before.

"Joe, you are here." Harry excitedly smiled.

"Oh, It's already the time. Go both of you. Dumbledore wanted to see me to..." Hagrid stopped for a moment before eyeing Joe. "To take care of something. Ah, Harry... This is your ticket." Hagrid gave him the same ticket as Joe had.

Then when Harry inspecting it closely, Hagrid disapparate away from them.

"Hagrid, this said we have to go to platform 9 and three quarter but there are no such things..." Harry lifted his head, only to see Joe smiling at him.

"Where is Hagrid?" He asked when saw him nowhere. "He left just now..." Joe answered. He then saw Harry looked confused, making him looked like an innocent child. This made Joe laughed out loud.

"Seriously, Harry. You should get used to this. Remember, you are a wizard now." Joe grabbed both of his shoulders to force him to wake up.

"Here... I got the same ticket as you. Let's go." Joe took out his ticket and lead him around.
