Departing

"Then... Should we sit together? The three of us?" Joe found an empty compartment where they could rest along the journey.

"Right, we haven't introduced ourselves formally to you." Joe turned to Ron who sitting in front of Joe and Harry.

"Joe, Joe White. Nice to meet you." Joe then said.

"Hi... I'm Ron, Ron Weasley." Ron replied.

"Harry, Harry Potter." Harry got excited to have another friend.

"Bloody hell, You are Harry Potter. Umm... Do you... Do you... have that scar?" Ron said slowly in case he offended Harry but the boy didn't care.

"Oh..." Harry just said lightly before showing the thunder shaped scar on his forehead.

"Hmm... Interesting. This my first time seeing it." Joe even turned his head and saw the wound that looked like about to close at any moment but still there for years.

"That's the cursed mark." Joe said to both of them.

"Cursed mark?" Both Harry and Ron said at the same time when looking at Joe.

"A wound that will never heal depending on the spell who made it. For example, a werewolf wound, dark arts wound, etc." Joe swapped his seat with Ron and explained to both of them about what he knew.

"Anything of the trolley, dears?" A kind staff of the train appeared at the door of their compartment and offer some snacks to buy.

"Oh, yeah... Can I have one for each of them? No, wait... I want 5 chocolate frogs." Joe took out a simple pouch from his pocket and took out some gold coins to buy.

She then waved her wand with a chuckle. The trolley then opened a lot of drawers filled with snack packages that flew one by one to the empty sitting place.

Joe who still didn't know how to use magic properly walked to the lady and gave her the money. "Thank you." He smiled until she went to the next compartment.

"Hoho..." Joe getting excited as this is the first time he saw magic snacks on his lap.

Seeing his reaction made Ron a bit scared of Joe. He then went to Harry and whispers, "He is a bit weird, isn't he?" He said.

"Oi, I can hear you. But I don't mind. It's just like you when going to the muggle world, there will be a lot of things that can't be explained. This is my first time in the Wizarding world. Come on, go easy on me." Joe said before opening one of the frog chocolate.

He then saw the chocolate with frog shape started moving. As the frog about to jump, Joe caught it at a fast speed.

"So, how long do you think the train would last?" Joe asked as he tried stuffing the frog into his mouth. Weirdly, the chocolate was still wiggling in his mouth, which made it weird as the taste is normal chocolate.

"It will take around 9 hours, I guess. My brothers told me." Ron answered while eyeing the snack.

"What are you looking at? Go on, pick whatever you want." Joe said as he crunched through the frog that melting in his mouth. Ron and Harry then picked one each to enjoy together.

"Right, Ron... Harry... Have the two of you thought of exploring the Wizarding World?" Joe asked.

"I don't know." Ron answered while Harry shook his head.

"Hahaha... I want to see how big is the wizarding world. I want to see many Magical Beast. I want to ride a dragon. Don't you think that's exciting?" Joe asked only to found both Ron and Harry looking at him blankly.

"Ugh... Anyway, let's focus on school." Joe said in the end.

'It seems I was wrong talking to them now. They are still kids after all.' Joe thought and sighed.

The three of them then talked about Ron's family where Ron describing his brothers one by one. But soon they run out of topic and rest.

Joe went into a meditative state and meditate to increase his mana. When he felt the number is acceptable he continued by manipulating his mana for lifting objects such as the snack packages.

But due to his low mana capacity and mastery over controlling it. The package only floated briefly and unnoticeable by people. Not even a ruler can measure how high it fly.
