Becoming A Father and Rage
Waking up and feeling slightly sluggish, I moved to the kitchen and made myself a cup of strong coffee. Not very English I know, but I just needed the caffeine.
After finally waking up some, I checked over my remaining reward and saw the Mystery Monster Egg. Hatching it would prove somewhat of a challenge, but maybe I would get a lifelong companion out of it. I don't know if I want to start a relationship only to see the person you love die in the end, this way I can maybe gain a familiar that lives as long as me.

Almost 6 months later

It's been nearly six months, I decided to stop grinding levels for now and focus my time on increasing my skill levels and get back into alchemy and artifice. The potions from the dungeon might be useful to normal people, but with my simply ridiculous Health-pool, they won't cut it.
I also made some simple armor that gives me +500 in defense, so normal weapons or magicwon't damage me anymore. Speaking of weapons, Arondight the sword turned dagger has ridiculous stats.

The sword was simply said, overpowered, it couldn't be destroyed and had a cutting power that would put any sword in the DxD verse to shame, even the completed Excalibur would fall short, that I'm sure of.

On a different note, the hatching of the egg went well so far. After two months it slightly changed color, taking on a faded pink color that turned deeper the longer it incubated. It won't be long before it hatches and I see what comes out of it.

I was currently making some potions in the living room to keep an eye on the egg when I heard some cracking noises. Looking over to the egg I saw the egg wobbling around, nothing really new, it has done that since two days ago. The thing that was new were the cracks all over the shell, so I stopped my work and got ready for the hatching of whatever may come out.

Seriously you got to be kidding me, a baby Mizutsune. It looks absolutely adorable.
It had a similar body structure to a fox, but instead of completely being covered in fur it's top half was covered in fish like scales and the belly was covered in a pinkish-purple fur that ran across the entire underside. The tail was also covered in scales, but the last third to the tip was covered in fur. The underside of the tail was again fully covered in fur. It had fin like appendages on it's head that are yellow-pink in color, those fins can also be found on its back and tail. (Look up: Baby/Chibi Mizutsune from Monster Hunter)

Description:
Like most other Leviathans, Mizutsune has a long, slender body. However, it is one of the few Leviathans to actually have fur on its body. This dark purple fur covers its chest, underbelly, legs and tail. Its scales are light colored and resemble those of a fish. Its head has a long snout and is beautifully adorned by many fin-like appendages. These fins are pink with yellow markings, and they can also be seen on its back and tail. Skills:
Mizutsune is able to breathe bubbles at its enemies and able to produce these bubbles in its fur. These bubbles inflict bubble blight, which hinders movement. It can also fire pressurized jets of water from its mouth.

Lily: "Kyun" It was looking tired and hungry so I warmed up some milk and wrapped it in a blanked.
After feeding the small bundle of scales and fur it fell asleep, so I continued to make my potions, not really expecting a lot of sleep for the next month or so.

Well like I mentioned I didn't get much sleep, at most 2 hours at a time and I also had to cancel my little outings with Sona, since I couldn't leave the ever increasing bundle of hyper-activeness alone for more than an hour. It hurt a bit to hear the disappointment in Sona's voice, but it was necessary to raise the baby.

You could currently see me sitting on the floor with a slightly bigger Lily on my lap, she was starting to learn to use her water and bubbles and the curious baby that she is decided to swallow some of her soapy bubbles, now she has a hiccup. As I was patting her back and trying to calm her I got a message from Sona.

The message was completely unexpected and I'm sure it was intended for someone else, but figuring that out can wait.
I picked up Lily placed her into a special baby seat I put into the hood of my hoodie and left the house. I created a canopy around the hood to protect the resident baby that was looking about curiously. After sensing around with my Mana, the only thing I felt was a group of High-class devils gathering in an alley two blocks from here.
Since that is the only group, that could pose a threat to Sona at the moment I activated [Touki] and sprinted towards the alley where I felt the gathering of those devils. Arondight materialized in my hand and I got ready for my first ever battle against truly living beings.
When I arrived at the scene, what I saw made my blood boil and made me subconsciously release killing intend towards the only devil that was still there and was looming over a beat Sona.
Mob Devil: "Tell me where is the white haired Nekomata, I know you are sheltering her."
Sona: "Why should I care about what you want, I see no reason to tell you anything."
Of course the devil felt the killing intent, and got ready for confrontation.
Mob Devil: "Huh it's just a human, though that killing intent is impressive."
Ashtal: "Hahahhhhahhhha, just a human, I think you have forgotten that not all humans are so easy to deal with as you think."
As I was taunting the devil, I got ready to fight by calming my racing mind and making sure to look weak and vulnerable. Completely hiding my Mana and Touki.
Sona: "What are you doing here, run, I'm going to be fine." Sona almost begged.
Ashtal: "Why I'm here?, because of your distress message that you send me at almost midnight."
Sona: "But that should have gone to Ko..." Sona wanted to say before fainting.
Me trying to calm my mind was of no use, since the bastard just had to kick Sona out of spite, right in the ribs making her faint.
[Due to emotional stress the Balance Breaker for Sacred Gear: Formeless Absorbtion has been unlocked.]
Ashtal: "[Balance Breaker]" I used it without thinking, which is probably completely overkill. But as they say, there's no kill like overkill.
A dark purple almost black aura burst from my body as it completely hid my body, once the aura receded my body didn't change much. I had tribal style tattoos around my arms and Torso, similar looking to those of sealing arrays. My hair also turned a couple shades darker.
Ashtal: "[Balance Breaker, Gluttonous King: Beelzebub]"
Mob Devil: "What the hell, how are we supposed to deal with that, Narberius-sama will be furious if he finds out that we failed, because of a human brat no less." The devil was scared shitless from the sudden eruption of my magic power and the aura that is surrounding me was not helping either.
Ashtal: "Well l have to make sure Sona gets some medical attention soon, so..."
I used [Touki] to almost flash in front of the devil and materialized all three of my 'tails' and coated them in Light-element to give the devil a very painful experience.
The 'tails' stabbed forward piercing through the stomach and both a leg and an arm making him fall to his knees. He screamed out in absolute agony, he was so loud that even the fainted Sona woke up from it. I grabbed his face and lifted him up from his previous kneeling position and moved his ear closer to my mouth.
Ashtal: "You made one mistake, you hurt my friend and for that you will die without the chance of ever reincarnating." I whispered into the almost dead devils ear, the Light-element acting like a poison.
"[Devour, Beelzebub]" The devil was completely engulfed in a black substance that as fast as it appeared, disappeared, leaving nothing of the devil behind.

Once that condition is met, from that point on, at any time the user wishes, the user can reap the marked target's Soul, even if the target has recovered their will to live and fight in the meantime.)
- Corrode (The target will be decomposed until nothing is left, can be used together with Devour.)
Well OK, that's one Overpowered Balance Breaker. On another note let's get Sona fixed up and put her and the baby to rest, I'm kind of surprised that Lily didn't puke at the speeds I moved at just a moment ago.

As soon as I moved towards Sona the Balance Breaker wore off and returned me back to my normal self.
Sona: "Just what are you really?" She said weakly, on the brink of fainting again.
Ashtal: "You know, just a random human, your savior and most importantly for you, your friend." I said with a sincere smile while picking her up in a bridal style and moving in the direction of my house.
I put the fainted again Sona on my bed and went to get the Med-kit, once I had it I took out a syringe and filled it with the contents of one of the healing potions I made.
I found out that potions can only be used orally or by injecting them into the body, also any healing magic I tried to create failed miserably.
I chose injection since I'm not going to do it mouth to mouth if I can do it another way, after injecting the healing potion you could see the bruises and small cuts on Sona's body heal at a visible rate. The broken ribs from the kick will need more time to fully heal but it should be fine for now, so I just left Sona to sleep on the bed and moved to the couch in the living room, feeding Lily and wrapping her in a blanket I went to sleep holding the baby in my arms, I'm happy the couch can be pulled out for more space.
