chapter 37: kidnapping

THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

"I have already lost Travis, I cannot lose Romeo this time." Juliet mumbled as she walked to Romeo's direction.

Suddenly, a heavy rain and a huge fog came out of nowhere. Juliet had a hard time following Romeo, because of it.

"Romeo! Romeo! Where are you?!" Juliet shouted as she began soaking wet.

Little did Juliet know, there was a vehicle approaching behind her. But she didn't noticed because she was too focus on finding Romeo.

"Romeo! Romeo!" Juliet shouted over and over again as she turned around and saw a huge bright light coming towards her.

Things happened so fast, Juliet almost got hit by the car because someone pushed her backwards which cause her to fall onto the ground.

"R-Romeo?" Juliet said as she panted and Romeo on top of her.

"Juliet, I-" Romeo said then someone cutted her off.

"Look what we have here man, a pretty lady." A man said behind them.

"R-Romeo, wh-what should we do?" Juliet whispered as she slowly stood up with Romeo.

"Let me take care of this Juliet, just stay back." Romeo whispered back then Juliet did what he said.

"Don't you ever think about moving closer to her!" Romeo shouted then he punched the man who spoke on his face.

"Get off of them, right this instant!" Someone said from across the street.

"Lauren? Is that you?!" Juliet asked as she shouted then Lauren walked towards her.

"Yes it's me, stay back alright I have this under control." Lauren replied as she kicked the other man's leg.

"Move aside, Lauren! You might get hurt!" Romeo shouted back then the first man punched him back on his jaw.

"What? You think a girl like me can't fight these bad people?" Lauren asked as she smirked and she pulled Romeo up.

"That's not what I'm saying-" Romeo said then someone cutted him off.

"Romeo, Lauren, what are you doing here?" Travis asked.

"Travis?!" Romeo and Lauren said as they gasped.

"Tr-Travis is here?!" Juliet asked as she stuttered.

"The three of you move aside, I will take care of this." Travis said then he brings out a pepper spray and sprayed it towards the men.

"Romeo, assist them to go inside the vehicle, this instant!" Travis shouted then Romeo nodded and leads Lauren and Juliet to the vehicle.

Travis punched the men twice, then he immediately went to the vehicle and sat down beside Juliet.

"Tr-Travis, I can't believe it's you!" Juliet said as she puts her hand on his cheek then as she was supposed to kiss him, he moved backwards.

"Y-You know, you can't kiss me when I am soaking wet, Miss Fitzroy, right?" Travis nervously said then Juliet frowned and the vehicle started moving.

"Travy, it's been six months. We are glad to have you back on Juliet's birthday!" Lauren exclaimed then Travis slowly nodded.

"Right, Juliet's birthday. Happy birthday Fitzroy!" Travis nervously greeted with a fake smile.

"W-Well, that's a c-cute nickname after six months without communicating with each other." Juliet said as she frowned.

"How's military school, Travis? We didn't expect to see you this instant." Romeo said with a fake smile.

"O-Oh, it was sort of awful. I missed being with you three." Travis said as he frowned.

"A-Are you okay, Travis? Y-You seem different than usual." Juliet said as she looked at Travis.

"Because I am not Travis, darling." Travis said then he brings out a remote and pressed two buttons.

"Greetings everyone, especially to Rodolfo, I'm Matthew Greene. It's nice to meet you all." Matthew said as he evilly smirked then Romeo gasped, while Lauren and Juliet did a confused face.

At the mansion

"Please, let me out. I need to talk to Maria right now." Travis begged as he kneel down.

"I'm sorry young man, but we are only doing our jobs for Mr. and Mrs. Greene." The first bodyguard said.

"Atleast give me a telephone for me to greet my girlfriend a happy birthday?" Travis begged as he looked up at the bodyguards.

"Rules are rules, Sir. In the mean time, you can have your dinner in a minute." The second bodyguard said.

Travis sighed and slide to the wall, with handcuffs around his wrists. Til' then, he started remembering the first time he arrived in his so-called military school.

Flashback

"I can finally be in one of my dream schools! Thanks to you, Maria." Travis said as the vehicle crossed the military school.

"I-I'm sorry, but shouldn't we park right there?" Travis asked.

"Actually, since you are most likely in my team right now, I decided that you will stay in my house." Maria said as she looked up at Travis with an evil smirk.

"But of what I have heard, military students are stayed inside the campus' dorms." Travis said as he did a confused face.

"Never speak that way to me young man, I granted one of your dreams and you speak to me like that. Rude and feisty, just like your girlfriend." Maria said in anger.

"Sheesh, I'm sorry. I'm just confused that's all, I promise I will keep my mouth shut." Travis apologized.

"Good boy Travis, now I see why Juliet chose you over that silly bestfriend of yours." Maria said with an evil smirk then Travis frowned.

As soon as they arrived into their house, Maria gave Travis a blindfold then the bodyguards bring him to the farthest room in the house, so that no one can know about their plan.

"Remove his blindfold." Maria ordered then the bodyguards nodded and removed Travis' blindfold.

At first, Travis had a huge smile on his face, but the moment the blindfold was removed his smile faded away.

"How do you like your new room, Travis?" Maria asked with an evil grin on her face.

"I-It's g-great, but I don't understand." Travis said.

"Oh honey, soon you will understand. I promise." Maria said as she turned around then they left.

In the three months that Travis stayed in his abandoned room all alone, Maria and Peter start planning on what they will do with him since his blood is special just like Romeo's. One day, they decided to grab their opportunity to remove two pounds of blood from Travis. One month later, they brought a professional surgeon to put him into sleep and did what they ordered to. After then, Travis become weaker and weaker as days passed, his only hope to survive are only food and water.

No one has any idea of how Travis is going on, because the only thing they knew is that he is in the military school. But because of Maria's evil plans, she tricked him into thinking of that way for her to take an advantage from him. Within the two months up until the present, Matthew and the bodyguards began searching for Maria and Peter's supposed-to-be son, Rodolfo or originally called as Romeo, for them to lead to where the guardian of the Magicia is.

Present

After two days of travelling, Matthew along with Romeo, Juliet and Lauren arrived at the Greene's place.

"Wh-Where are we?" Juliet asked as she yawned and slowly sat up.

"Th-This house, i-it's familiar." Romeo said as he frowned.

"And I thought you haven't travel across the country, Romeo?" Lauren asked as she looked at Romeo.

"Of course I haven't, but I swear it-" Romeo said then a flashback cutted him off.

Flashback

"Maids, please bring Rodolfo's things up to his room." Mrs. Greene said then both of the maids nodded and grabbed Rodolfo's things.

"Rodolfo, before you go upstairs and change into your new clothes, I would like you to meet our son." Peter said as a boy walks downstairs, reading a book.

"Matthew, this is Rodolfo. Rodolfo, Matthew." Mrs. Greene said as Rodolfo/Matthew smiled at Matthew.

"It's so nice to meet you, Matthew." Rodolfo/Romeo said.

"Likewise, I guess." Matthew said as he frowned.

Present

Romeo suddenly gasped as he remembered the life he had right before the accident.

"M-Matthew, i-it's you!" Romeo said as he pointed at Matthew then he frowned.

"Welcome back, my brother or should I say adopted brother." Matthew said then he evilly laughed.

"That's rude for you to say that, whatever your name is." Juliet said as she walked towards Matthew and Lauren followed her.

"I'm sorry 'easily to get pranked on' miss girly, was I talking to you?" Matthew asked as he went closer to Juliet as she walked backwards then Romeo brings up his fist.

"Slow down brother, you know it's been almost a year since we last seen each other. Have some respect with your brother, kay?" Matthew said as he evilly smirked at Romeo.

"Almost a year?" Lauren asked.

"Yes, I don't know if Romeo remembered but we did cross paths in the old library last year. He was so clueless, you could've seen his face." Matthew said then he laughed.

"Look Matthew, we don't know who you are or whatever do you want from us. Can you please take us back home?" Juliet asked as she begged.

"Oh, I will, but it might take awhile for that." Matthew said then he winked at Juliet and Juliet rolled her eyes.

"Let's don't waste our time outside and come inside on my family's beautiful house." Matthew continued as he walked to the front door.

"How do we know if we trust you, Matthew?" Romeo asked in anger.

"Why not Rodolfo? As far as I can remember, you have always trusted Matthew back when you two were wittle kids." Maria said as she walked towards them from behind then they turned around.

"M-Maria Greene?" Juliet mumbled.

"M-Mother?" Romeo said.

"Welcome home Rodolfo, would you be a kind gentleman and introduce to me your friends?" Maria asked as she pointed at Lauren and Juliet then he sighed.

"M-Mother, this is Lauren, and this is Juliet." Romeo sighed.

"Well its a pleasure to meet you girls, I'm guessing one of you is his girlfriend." Maria said with a fake smile then Lauren and Juliet looked at each other.

"Anyways, don't worry we won't bring you to any harm. We just wanted to steal you three for a bit." Maria said as she walked to the front door then she opened it.

Romeo, Juliet and Lauren sighed and decided to enter the house through their front door. Then, Maria and Matthew immediately locked the doors and turned off the lights.
