Trap!

Under the clear sky, Ken was ready to start the new chapter of his life. He glanced toward the coast. Many small vibrant colored boats were docked there.

He was very excited about his journey, but this was not the place he had to go. After boating for 20 minutes, they reached the coast.

Oliver squeezed him tightly while giving a hug. They had become fast friends in just a few days.

"So, it's time to say goodbye?" Oliver said with a sad smile.

"Yep, it seems like I have to go." Ken replied in a neutral tone as he looked towards the coast.

Ken showed few emotions and said goodbye to Oliver. He was not sad or upset because this was the start of his new life.

Oliver gave him his black bag and said. "Take care Ken".

Ken gave him a pretty smile and said. "You also take care of yourself. Be sure not to overeat as you might explode.''

Both chuckled and moved in their separate ways apart: Ken wore his bag on his shoulder and waved his hand in the air toward Oliver. Oliver was sailing his small boat toward the ship.

After this, Ken thought about what's next and where to go.

He started walking toward the city. It was very crowded because it was one of the busiest coasts in the world where import and export operations took place, as this was a natural hub.

Many countries bring their products and sell them at cheap prices as low prices attract more customers.

He walked up the stairs and saw countless numbers of people walking on the coast market.

They belonged to different countries and nations. Some of them were bargaining with each other, some purchasing goods. There were many people who sell different varieties of fish and clothes.

Two beautiful high-heeled girls wearing mini skirts started staring toward him, and licked their lips to flirt with him. These girls had dark-colored skin but were looking very attractive. They gave him signs to follow them for fun.

He was tempted, but this was not the right time to waste a single minute. He pulled himself from the distractions and kept walking toward the city center.

After getting out of this rush, he saw a grey road with beautiful tiles and colorful houses on both sides of the road.

All the houses were painted bright yellow, green, red, orange, and pink, etc. He had never seen such types of houses and colorful roads.

Outside of each house, there was a small garden with different kinds of flowers in it. This made the charm of the street even more exploding.

Before he took a clear glance of that city, an old man hit him hard and started apologizing quickly.

Ken did not mind it and was about to go on when he suddenly felt something amiss. He promptly checked his pocket and noticed that the money was gone.

"Well, that's what you get for getting distracted." Ken blamed himself and looked for the old man. He spotted him walking just ahead.

"Hey! you grey shirt stop" Ken tried to stop him but it was not a good idea.

Ken's voice alerted him, and he started running. He dropped his stick and started running like an athlete. He was an expert at his work.

"Thanks for welcoming me in this way," Ken muttered, and started chasing him. He was faster than Ken, but he did not give up.

Ken knew he could not do without that money. He needs that money to survive and has no valuables to sell for more money.

He chased the thief as fast as he could, but the thief was very clever and knew all the ways and paths of that city.

Ken ran faster to catch him, but the old man was professional. It was like he had already planned what to do if he were ever to be chased.

While running around, he suddenly turned into an alley and when Ken reached that alley, he found the grey shirt that the old man was wearing.

Ken closed his eyes and started thinking about him in detail. The appearance of the old man was vague, but Ken remembered the shoes that he was wearing.

"They are dark brownish in shade with two straps" He murmured and started running.

He ran to catch him but when he reached the last place; the thief had been spotted, he saw there were over 20 shops in that street.

Not knowing where the thief had gone, he decided to check every shop.

He entered the first corner shop of the street. It was a tailor's shop. He started searching for that thief when he entered the shop he saw there were a lot of women in that shop, not a single man.

"Maybe not this shop." He spoke under his breath and decided to move on. Just when he was about to leave, he saw the rows of changing rooms at the end of the shop.

Hesitant about what to do, Ken mustered up his courage and then slowly walked towards the changing rooms.

Each room had a curtain blocking the view, so Ken discreetly peeked from the bottom for the matching shoes. He bent down and started to act as if he had dropped something.

Repeating the same trick when he reached the sixth cabin, he found the same shoes he had seen on the thief.

Thinking he found his thief, Ken barged in and when he was about to catch the thief, he noticed that inside the cabin there was a woman who was changing her clothes. Saying nothing, Ken turned around and stormed out of the shop.

The moment he left, there was a loud shriek from the shop and everyone looked towards the cabin where Ken was just a moment ago.

Ken wiped the sweat from his forehead. He knew if he were to be caught there, his life was finished.

Not knowing what to do since his lead was lost, Ken thought about other things that he noticed on that old man. Then he thought of the tattoo that old man had on his left hand and looked around.

While looking around, he saw an ice cream studio at the end of the street. He walked toward it.

Its name was Magic Mania. He saw there were a lot of rainbow-colored chairs for customers and balloons for kids. It was a very big and decorated shop.

A clown danced in front of this shop to entertain children. Kids were thrilled and laughing loudly while playing with the Clown's hair and nose.

Ken started walking down the street after losing hope of catching the thief. While crossing that ice cream studio, he took a glance toward that clown and spotted that he had that tattoo on his hand.

This time, not alerting him, Ken decided to wait till they reached an empty alley or some street without many people.

As he hid behind a tree, Ken noticed that the clown, aka Mr thief was looking around from time to time. He probably wanted to make sure if he was being followed or not.

Ken hid behind the tree patiently and did not make any kind of moves.

He knew the thief was well acquainted with all the areas and streets of the city. That is the reason this place was favorable for him and he can easily wreck him, so Ken decided to catch him by surprise without giving him a chance to run.

But Ken didn't know that he was walking straight into a trap, that the person he was chasing was not just a thief.

The thief and Ken both walk normally. The thief acted like he didn't want to be followed and Ken thought he hadn't been spotted. By following him, Ken was led to a dark alley and then an old abandoned building.

When he walked in, Ken did not see the thief and thought he had lost him again. It was dark inside the building so he shined his pocket torch and saw old machines, cans of petrol, and oil.

There he saw many machines lying broken on the floor. Dust and dirt covered the floor may be completed in the way it seemed like he was walking on a sand carpet.

While looking around, he found obvious tracks that someone had walked around here. While he was searching around, a loud noise came and the door from where he had just walked in, closed itself.

This immediately alerted Ken, and he sharply turned around. With the help of the small light, he walked back to the door and tried to open it, but it was to no avail.

Just when he was trying to open the door, a strange smell hit his nose.

His already sharp senses immediately prompted him to hold his breath and screamed inside his mind to get out of here. But no matter how much he tried, the door wouldn't budge.

After a while, Ken could not hold his breath any longer and started to inhale the gas in. Even though his body was special, he started to feel sluggish.

After trying again to open the door, Ken gave up and relaxed. He knew that no matter what he did, he won't be able to escape this situation, so why bother harming the body.

He thought that he was unlucky that he fell into a trap, but what he didn't know was that he was special and each and every event was already planned for him.

After 5 minutes passed, He lay down on the floor slowly and closed his eyes. Darkness soon engulfed his mind.
