(COMPLETED)
In the land of Ugah, there's a boy called Lucas, he lives with Malachi the king of Ugah. He was adopted by Malachi, when he was five years old. The king's daughter, Aurora, fell in love with him even though he was her brother, Aurora, due to the affection she has for him couldn't tell him because she feared it would bring shame to the kingdom. On the other hand, Lucas fell in love with her but could not tell her too.
One day, war befell upon Ugah. The war lasted for months and Malachi who was a weak king could not protect his people including Lucas, who lost his life trying to save Aurora. The news went aboard. Days after days, Aurora would not eat, she kept weeping for her lover. This made her even more sad whenever she remembered the things they've shared together and her cowardice behavior of not confessing her love to him.
Years past, her father, the king, began preparing a wedding for her, she refused to comply with it. One night, she ran away with her horse to another city called the Unknown. She was a total stranger there, no one knew her as a princess. Infact, no one knew where she came from, regardless of not knowing her well, she was treated like a queen.
The people of the Unknown were all good to her. One morning, on her way home from the market, a boy named Gregory approached her, he helped her carry some loads and they began talking. Gregory looked at her and smiled. "You look like a foreigner," he said. "I am foreigner," answered Aurora. Gregory laughed, he said to her again, "No, you look like a princess!"
Aurora looked away from him so that he won't suspect any act of him guessing it right. "What makes you think that?" She asked. "I don't know. Maybe my instinct," he answered, "Are you?" He asked again. "No!" Aurora replied with a loud voice. "I don't even know you," she added.
They arrived at Aurora's apartment, Gregory helped her put the stuffs in place, he sat on her couch refusing to go back. "What are you doing?" She asked with her hands on her waist. "I'm waiting for your answer," replied Gregory, "C'mon you have to trust me, I won't tell anyone" he added. Aurora opened the door and stretched out her hand, "Leave now, please!" she said.
Gregory got up and walked up to her, he scoffed, "Wow, such courtesy." Aurora looked away from him in disgust. "I will leave now." He concluded and left.
That same day, Aurora prepared to make dinner, she dished out the food and began to eat, then the telephone rings, she got up to see who it was. When she saw that it was Bryan, the man her father brought in marriage for her, she refused to pick up and went back to the dinning room. After she had done eating, she heard a noise in her bedroom, she quickly ran to see what it was. She searched her bedroom but found nothing.
"Maybe it's the wall gecko," she thought and went back to the sitting room. Moments later, there was a cold wind, it blew her windows open. This made her frightened. She quickly shut the windows close and prepared to sleep.
The following day, she woke up and her sitting room was disarranged, this made her curious, at first she thought of Gregory, this made her furious. She went outside and screamed out, "Gregory I'll kill you!" She went back inside her bedroom and found it scattered, at the thought of all the mystery happening at once, she ran outside but heard a voice that called out her name.
Aurora turned back slowly and said feeling frightened, "Who's there? Show yourself!" Then, sheheard footsteps approaching her but could not see anyone. She posed like a warrior ready for battle holding a pan, "I don't want any trouble just come out," she said.
"It's me Lucas," the voice replied. Fear gripped her and she fell. "Lucas?" she asked, "It's...not possible, you... you died thirteen years ago" she muttered. "Yeah, I know. Come to the mirror at night and I'll reveal myself" the voice answered.
She stood up quickly and got on Alpah, her horse, and ran away without hesitation. Lucas's spirit watched her leave, he felt sad and vanished back to Ghoria, the land of the dead but sometimes called the land with mission.
A land where the dead who has a mission is allowed to be seen, heard, felt by the ones they want to protect in the real world.
Aurora went as far as she could, on her way, she met Gregory with his friend, Tony. On seeing them, she got down from her horse quickly, panting.
"Are you okay?" Gregory asked. "No, not at all," she answered, "My house is hunted, my house is hunted!" This made Gregory confused, he insisted to follow her back to her house to confirm what she was talking about.
They all got to her house and found it tidy, Aurora felt like collapsing when she saw her house was organized. "No this can't be," she said. "What's that?" Gregory asked. "Be... before I left, the house was untidy. This... can't be."
Tony chuckled at her behavior and all she was saying. "Stop laughing it isn't funny!" She said in a loud frustrated voice. "I'm sorry but all this you're saying isn't true," Tony replied. "Are you here to fool us?" he added.
Aurora hit him without hesitation, "You son of a bitch, what will I gain by doing so!" Gregory tried to calm her down. Tony became angry and left. "You should go too ya know," Aurora insisted. "No," answered Gregory, "I won't leave you just like that," he concluded. He did his search but found nothing, he looked at Aurora curiously, "Are you sure you heard something?" he asked. Aurora sighed and sat on her bed, "If you don't believe me, you can go too ya know," she replied. "Ok," answered Gregory.
"Here's my number, you can call me when things go wrong again," he added. He wrote down his number in a paper and gave to Aurora. "Thanks," she replied. Gregory was about to take his leave but she persuaded him to stay with her for a while.
Meanwhile, in the land of Ghoria, Lucas was feeling sad, Janet, his friend, a young lady who died during child birth. She walked up to him. "Hey boy," she said and sits beside him. "Are you okay?" She asked. Lucas nodded, "Yeah, I'm just... It's just that all has changed ever since I passed away. My... my love is all alone."
Janet smiled at him, "I know just how you feel," she tried to convince him and empathize with him. "Don't worry, just keep trying, she'll understand soon." He sighed, "I hope so," he added.
As they were discussing, Ron, a man who scares everyone in Ghoria, walked up to them, "Janet, you know you're not allowed to be so close with this boy," he said furiously. "Says who?" Janet asked. "Says me," he answered. "You know, now we can no longer die here, I can do whatever I want, whoever I want," he added and smiled devilishly.
After a moment of silence, Lucas spoke out, "You're right, you can't die here no more, were you one of those that couldn't elope despite the amount of resources they had?"
This made Ron more furious, he grabbed Lucas on his shirt. "Please stop it!" Yelled Janet. He punched Lucas to the ground and he injured his mouth, "This better be the last time you talk to me that way!" Lucas laughed at him and answered, "You know once you're done with your mission, you'll die... your final death."
Ron, left him as he thought about it. He went away through a portal. "Are you okay?" Asked Janet. "Yeah," he replied and laughs, "You know, he just threw a blow at me knowing too well we can't feel pains either." He added, immediately his injury closed up.
Janet smiled as she realized it. Lucas got up, "Alright, still be careful around him, he can go the extra mile," she cautioned him politely. "Don't worry, he's a coward. And cowards are those that try to make others scared even when they know they're nothing." He replied.
As they were talking, Pluto, Lucas's dragon, arrived. "Hey Pluto, what did you find?" Asked Lucas. "Nothing much," Pluto answered. "She's hunting right now with a friend. Maybe her boyfriend." He concluded. "C'mon don't say that Pluto," Janet cuts in. "It's okay if she's married now, my job is to keep her safe," said Lucas.
"May I go now?" Pluto asked. "Yes." Answered Lucas. "Thanks for the update," he added. Pluto nodded and flapped his large wings away, back to meet the others. "I'll be going now," Lucas said to Janet. "Okay." She replied. He went away through a portal he made.

(Before I proceed to chapter 2, I'll like to clear what Ghoria is all about. The land of Ghoria is a place where the dead who has a mission are kept. Just like we have laws on Earth, Ghoria's number one law is that, when a person dies, especially when he/she died as a teenager or as a child, that person, while in Ghoria, will continue to grow until he/she is 18 before they can fulfill their mission. In chapter 2, I'll enlighten you about it ^^)
