Chapter 62

Lucinda's POV

Before all of us changed into reception attire we were all dragged away to take photos. Matty had suggested that we take pictures before the actual wedding to avoid wasting valuable time but Diego refused to be seen before the actual day.

After multiple pictures with the grooms, we took pictures as the bridal party and finally with family, then inner circle, besties and then the grooms on their own. After deeming that we had enough pictures we all rushed back into the house to change.

On my way up I caught a glimpse of Donny and I stopped momentarily to look at him. He had gelled his hair back but a few of his curly strands escaped and framed his face nicely. He looked crisp and handsome in his tux and I took my time admiring how good he looked.

As if sensing my eyes on him he looked up and gave me a mock salute which I returned before he disappeared from my view. I sighed when I realised that I ahd been actively ignoring him since my conversation with Dami yesterday and felt bad but pushed it to the back of my mind and headed to my room.

Once inside I quickly took off my tux which I placed back in the cover carefully. Unzipping the other cover I found a beautiful blue and black floor-length dress. It was strapless and had a corset which made me realise that I might need help in putting it on.

As if sensing my distress, Sylvie knocked on my door and told me she was here to help with the dress. Gratefully letting her in I slipped it on and noticed that it had a slit down my right leg while I waited for her to tighten the strings.

Once she was done, she complimented me and I thanked her before her phone buzzed and she explained that she was needed else where and left. Stepping in front of the mirror I admired how the dress hugged my curves. Making and executive decision, I pulled the pin out of my hair and watched the curls unravel to frame really nicely around me.

I picked up a sapphire hair pin and clipped it in my hair. Making sure that my makeup was still fine I grabbed all my stuff and but them in a small shiny black clutch and frowned at my lose of pockets.

Leaving my room I headed down to the venue in the backyard. To say it was magical was, yep you guessed it, an understatement. The lake glistened in the sunlight which made everything look that much more beautiful. The flowers arrangements to the centerpieces and overall decor was absolutely beautiful.

A little stage of sorts was set-up for our grooms along with a shelter to shield them from the sun. To their sides was two long tables with their own shelters for the bridal parties. Along the grass were circular tables with large umbrellas shielding them from the sun for the guests. Beyond the tables and chairs was a large rectangle on the floor which would be our dance floor.

While admiring all the hard work these people put in hands snaked around my waist and I felt a warm kiss on my neck. I smiled and turned my head to see Chase with a huge grin on his face. I turned around to embrace him in a hug.

He kisser him and I kisser him back. We separated and I wiped the lipstick off his lips only for him to kiss me again. I giggled and he chuckled.

"You wanna walk around with lipstick on your lips?"

"What other way do I tell the guys I've got myself such a beautiful lady for a girlfriend..."

I giggled at his idiocy and he just pecked me again.

"You could just tell them silly!"

"Well then if I told them I wouldn't get to do this!"

He kissed me again but this dipped me backwards so I would hold onto his shoulders. He brought me back up when someone cleared their throat. We separated to see Donny standing there watching us with a annoyed expression on his face.

Chase glanced at him before he groaned and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Save me a dance... Okay?"

I bit my lip and nodded before he headed in the direction that Donny came from. I looked at Donny for a brief second and an emotion passed through his eyes before he turned away quickly and walked away.

Okay... Weird.

Feeling like Chase totally messed up my makeup I went to the bathroom to fix it. On my way there I bumped into Lisa who was also on her way to the bathroom. Her dress and I'm also assuming Lynn's was knee-length with similar colours but different design. Hers was spaghetti strap with no corset but had a zipper instead.

"I see you've got smudged lipstick there, anything interesting happen?"

She teased and before I could feel even the slightly bit embarrassed I noticed that her lipstick was smudge too and I smirked.

"I don't know... You?"

She seemed confused before she realised that I had noticed too and her cheeks flammed in embarrassment. I laughed and she joined me as our laughter filled the empty room.

"I swear to god... If Vic breaks your heart, I'll skin him alive."

I said while using a wet wipe to clean the area around my lips, careful not to ruin my makeup.

"And if I break his heart?"

"Then he has a major problem..."

I leaned in really close to her ear.

"... But if you do wanna break his heart, I'll be right beside you cheering you on."

She shoved me away lightly and we broke out into another fit of laughter.

"You're a crazy bitch, y'know that..."

"I've been told."

We re-applied our make-up and make sure everything else looked good before we separated on our way out from the bathroom. I began walking to the backyard where almost everyone was seated and waiting for the grooms to arrive so the programme could start.

As soon as my ass touched the chair they walked through the doors to their table with big smiles on their faces.
