The beach

(Shirou's pov)

After I 'escaped' the mansion I was more proud than I should be for pulling Kakashi on Rin and Luvia. Fortunately I got these animal photos to trick Rin into taking them because as i suspected both of them wouldn't let me change the terms of our deal, they aren't stupid afterall, a little naive and hot-blooded but not stupid.

(The next day)

Today is Illya's, Chloe's and Miyu's birthday. We'll go together to the beach after we meet up near elementary school where the girls go since their friends are also coming. Unfortunately I didn't invite Issei since I'm not entirely sure if Ruby won't inject me with 'love' potion and not knowing if I'll hit on him in that state I would rather not risk it. I checked if I got everything I needed for the party and after confirming it I called out the girls.

(For anyone confused why they are going together since in the manga it was only Shirou and Issei that were looking after the girls, let me clarify some things. It's the butterfly effect in it's finest.

Shirou is more proactive -> Rin is Shirou's girlfriend -> They'll want to spend time together -> Shirou invites Rin but doesn't tell anyone that she is his girlfriend -> Luvia hears about Shirou's invitation-> Luvia won't want to be left out and propose a ride for everyone -> They go together to the beach

And that's how it played out and before anyone asks why didn't Shirou tell anyone that Rin is his girlfriend, it's because no one asked... yet.)

Shirou: "Illya, Chloe, are you ready?

Illya and Chloe: "Yes!"

They answered me with beautiful smile on their faces. My happiness is immeasurable and my day is saved.

We went to the beach by the car arranged by Luvia and drived by none other than multi talented butler - August.

When we arrived we found the changing rooms and went into them... separately of course. I was the first one to finish changing but I was not left alone alone. The young squad wasn't much slower than me but it's not strange seeing their enthusiasm and impatience for the fun to come.

After them came out Luvia in one piece, golden swimsuit. It was fashionable teared having three holes at the front which one of them showed a belly button.

Luvia: "How do I look, Shero?"

She said in seductive manner showing off her cleavag.

I may have a girlfriend but I still can appreciate other people... but it's not like I'll say it out loud.

Shirou: "You look great, I think that swimsuit suits you and it shows your personality well."

As forward as Luvia is she is still a teenage girl and hearing my words she became a little embarrassed. She touched her cheek with open hand, turning a little away from me to hide her ever increasing blush.

Luvia: "It seems my dear Shero have his ways with words."

Seeing her reaction the young squad started staring at the back of my head. Since I sensed theirs stare I turned to them but they quickly avoided my eyes.

Ignoring them I turned to Luvia once again.

Shirou: "Where's Rin?"

Hearing my question her mood instantly worsened but remembering something it improved just as fast. She covered her mouth with the back of her hand and started laughing.

Luvia: "Ohohohoho, she is still changing since she's got really 'special' swimsuit for this occasion."

Showing curiosity even though I know what Luvia is talking about I walked up to the girls changing room and knocked a few times.

Shirou: "Rin, ate you ready? Everyone is waiting for you."

Rin: "I-I can't go out with 'this' on me, it's too shameless."

Shirou: "We are at the beach, unless it's just strings it's not shameless to wear."

Rin: "You don't understand, I just can't.

After a short while I was the one to break silence.

Shirou: "...If you're not going out, I'm going in."

Rin: "W-w-wait, you can't!!!"

But Rin wasn't the only one to protest.

Illya: "O-onii-chan, you can't go inside. Rin-san has her reasons for not wanting to go out."

I nodded my head a few times to show my understanding of the situation.

Shirou: "I see, I see, but Illya, you seem to forget one thing, I also have a reason for going inside."

Illya shows a visible confusion but before she could ask what is it I answered.

Shirou: "I want to see Rin's swimsuit."

A shirt silence falls and once again I'm the one who broke it.

Shirou: "I'm going in."

During my conversation with Illya her three school friends whose names I dont remember covered their eyes but one of them showed no embarrassment at all and just stared with a smile showing that she doesn't understand situation at all or she just ignores it.

Before I could open the changing room, the door was opened by Rin with a fierce blush on her face but the thing that draw the most attention was her black swimsuit.

Shirou: "See, you look great."

My words only increased the intensity of her blush but before she could lash out I walked up to her, picked her up and and started spinning g with her while laughing. Rin meantime had a little breakdown and began to hit my head while I was still spinning not minding her violent outburst. I took hits from heroic spirits and survived so her 'attacks' won't have much effect on me.

Rin: "S-stop, let me down! People are watching!"

I looked at her while tilting my head in confusion.

Shirou: "So what?"

She lower her head, her blush increasing and and said in sheepish voice.

Rin: "It's embarrassing."

Hiw can she be this cute but I probably shouldn't push her too much so I put her down and started head patting her.

Shirou: "Sorry but you act too cute so I couldn't stop myself."

She turned her head away from me while still blushing.

Rin: "As long as you understand."

While I had my moment with Rin, Luvia was biting her handkerchief, Illya was blushing with her hands covering her eyes but her fingers were split for her to see what's happening, Chloe had dangerous gaze and smile, Miyu had a sad look on her face and there wasn't much change with Illya's, Chloe's and Miyu's friends.

Chloe: "Onii-chan, is Rin your girlfriend~?"

I nodded in confirmation and she smiled at me sweetly.

Chloe: "Congratulations, to both of you."

She then walked up to Rin, atmosphere became instantly colder around the two of them and whispered to her.

Chloe: "If you'll hurt Onii-chan in any way even the most powerful heroic spirit won't be able to prevent what I'll do to you so better remember to treat him right because there is no shortage of people who would take your place in a heartbeat."

She then returned to her friends and acted as if she didn't just threaten someone. Rin on the other hand was visible shaken by her words.

Shirou: "Rin, are you okay?"

Rin's back straightened almost immediately.

Rin: "E-everything is fine, dont worry about me and let's have fun."

While still little hesitant I agreed with her while I promised myself to pamper her later on when we will be alone.

After we got tired or at least they since my stamina is on another level thanks to Avalon we sat down and rested until Rin had a proposition about buying ice-cream.

We played a game to decide who'll go to get them and thanks to my bad luck I lost but Rin offered her help since I would have problem to deliver all ice-creams by myself.

When we found the ice-cream seller my mind lagged for a second because I completely forgot who sells ice-cream today. It was Bazett. Seeing her Rin tensed for a moment by I chose to ignore it for me since the moment she locked her eyes with mine she didn't say a single word. She just stood there without moving even a little bit.

The moment she moved I also tensed a bit because she started walking towards me and stopped when she was just before me. She then grabbed my face with both of her hands with so much force I couldn't escape even if I wanted but I wasn't even remotely ready for what's going to happen.

Ahe moved her head even closer to mine and... stared kissing me while my girlfriend is right besides me. Is it cheating because it feels like cheating.

What's worse my harem protagonist skill 'actived' and I stared to kiss her back. Bazett widened eyes slightly but she didn't stop the kiss.

It was as we were fighting for dominance and I was winning until the whole five minutes later the kiss ended with unconscious Bazett in my arms.

I wiped my mouth with my forearm.

Shirou: "That's what you got for playing with fire."

With these words escaping my mouth I remembered who is next me. There stood Rin with blush and angry expression.
