The Lord

People began to work to clean up the mess left after the attack. Isabell just looked around her and settled near one of the fires along with her two fellow travelers, Azrael and Mei.

Since they had arrived at the place, Isabell noticed that Mei seemed somewhat restless, she apparently was uncomfortable in some way with the interaction with humans. On the other hand, Azrael performed a small funeral ritual where he sanctified the corpses and raised some prayers for the deceased, entrusting their souls to whatever god they believed in.

Although Isabell also had knowledge of how to perform such ceremonies and it was her duty as her priestess to do such rituals; she didn't do them for a simple reason.

She was a guest after all. People insisted that she, Azrael, and Mei rest and only see things from afar. Of course, it wasn't against Isabell's intentions.
