Chapter Four

Cooper

A loud knock on the door woke me up from my slumber. I held my head when it ache. Damn this hangover.

"Cooper Fuentabella! Wake upppp!" A very hyper and cheerful voice shouted from the outside of my hotel door.

"For the love of god Cindy! Why in the world are you banging my door this early in the morning!?" I groan at her when i opened the door and let her in before slamming it close behind me.

"Its eight in the morning you dork! Your supposed to wake up like an hour ago!" She roll her eyes at me.

I ignored her and just lay in my bed. Im really sleepy, plus my head is hurting.

"Dont go back to sleep you darn baby! Get dressed, we're going somewhere!" She cheerfully said again.

"Why are you so cheerful? Dont you have hangover?" I said groaning.

"I have, but i already drink some tylenol. Do you want one? I think i still have one in my medicine kit." She said and quickly run outside to go get her medicine kit in her hotel room making me smile and close my eyes. Enjoying a few moments of peacefulness.

"Here it is! Come on, drink it." She came back pretty quick making me frown.

"Thanks, but a quiet and peaceful morning would help way more better." I said ad i reached for the tylenol and drink it.

"Opps. Sorry, I'm just excited for today."

"Aren't you always excited." I grumpily said and head to the bathroom to shower and do my morning routines.

When I'm done I walk back out and Cindy was nowhere to be found. I just shrugged and got dressed.

A soft knock on my door interrupt me.

"Cooper?" I heard the voice said from the outside.

I walked towards it and open it 

"It's not even lock." I said to the weird Cindy in front of me. She's smiling wide and she's battling her eyes at me.

"You look like a lost puppy. Why are you acting so weird?"

"Nothing. Just checking if your done getting ready."

"As you can see, I'm done. So what's the plan for today? I know you made a whole bunch of list of what we should do today." I said and mentally groaning.

"Oh.." She started but then pause and bit her lips before smiling at me again. "We're just gonna head down to eat breakfast."

I looked at her weirdly.

"Cinds..are you okay?" She nods at me and grin.

"Why would i be not okay?" She ask, raising her eyebrows at me a little bit. I shrugged and pinch her cheeks.

"You're just acting weird. Come on, let's head downstairs." I answered and pull her towards the elevator.

When we arrived downstairs, Cindy keeps on scanning the whole restaurant. She's biting her lips nervously too.

"Cindy.. are you sure you're okay?" I asked for the second time today.

"Huh? Yah. Of course." She answered, a little bit stuttered.

"You doesn't seem ok--."

"There they are! Come on." She said cheerfully and pull towards somewhere.

There's the Cindy i know.

"Hi, goodmorning." She greeted the two girls cheerfully.

I looked at Cindy weirdly, does she know this two girls?

"Goodmorning Cindy." The other girl with a cute dimples greeted back. The other girl just nod at Cindy.

"Mind if we join you?"

"Cindy, there's plenty of empty tables." I stopped Cindy from intruding to this two strangers.

"Shush." She said making me close my mouth immediately. She doesn't want to be interrupted.

"Ahm.. yeah, sure." The girl with the dimples respond.

"Thank you, you really are an Angel." Cindy compliments the girl.

I look at them and smile as i sat infront of the girl with a cute dimple. I studied her face and my eyes widened when i recognized who she is.

"Shane." I said and smile at the girl.

"Are you really that drunk yesterday to forgot what i look like?" Shane playfully ask and giggle.

"Ahm.. nope. I just have a tons of things in my mind i guess." I answered.

"Really?"

"Of course, no one can forget that beautiful face of yours." I said and wink at her. Her cheeks turns crimson red again and she drink some water in attempt to cover her face.

"That's what all play boys said." A voice beside me said. I look at her and grin at her.

"Im sorry, i didn't see you there."

"No need to apologize, i know you're there but i didn't acknowledge your presence." She replied and smile annoyingly at me before frowning again.

I heard Cindy and Shane snickered. I heaved a sigh to calm my self before smiling at her again. No way, im gonna let this woman get into my nerve.

"Oh Cooper, this is Natalia my bestfriend." Shane buts in.

"Natalia...hmm, your name suits you." I said.

"And yours doesn't." She answered rolling her eyes.

"Are you guys ready to order?" Cindy buts in while i shoot daggers on Natalia beside me.

"Yeah.." I just answered and force myself to open the menu.

I scan the menu until i found something i like to eat and closed it again, waiting for the waiter to come and get our orders.

When the waiter arrived, we said our orders.

Cindy and Shane keeps on talking about girly stuffs that i cant relate. While Natalia besides me is just quietly scrolling to her phone.

"We're gonna go to the restroom. Wanna come Natalia?" Cindy asked Natalia who only shook her head at them.

"Aren't you gonna invite me?" I playfully asked the two woman who just roll their eyes at me and head to the restroom.

"Can i ask you something?" I said.

"No." She quickly answered without a second thought.

"Its okay. Im just gonna ask anyway." I said, annoying her. It didn't seems to faze her though as she continue to scroll at her phone.

"Are your parents alien?" I asked her with a flirty smile. She puts her phone down and look at me.

Her face remains stern and serious though so i just continued what i was about to say. "Cause there's no one else like you on this earth."

She show me a small smile and lean a little closer to me.

"Are your parents alien?" She throws the question back at me. I smiled confidently knowing where this is heading.

"Why? Cause im extraordinary too?" I answered. Her smile dissapeared.

"No, cause you look like one." She said and stands up leaving me dumbfounded of what just happened, again.
