I stared daggers at him, "I don't own cocaine and I'm pretty sure I didn't take any."

"There are traces of it in your bloodstream. Lying will get you nowhere Miss Martinez and if you continue to do so I'll be forced to get the police involved," he threatened.

I glared at him, "I'm not lying."

He turned to my grandmother with a pen and a notepad in hand, "Does your granddaughter have any history with drugs?"

Grandma shook her head, "No, never. My Katie would never take drugs, she hates the taste of medicine."

The doctor adjusted his spectacles, "Have you taken any medications recently?"

My brows furrowed and I slowly nodded, "Yea, I took two aspirins earlier to stop the headache I had this morning."

The doctor rose one of his dark grey eyebrows, "Are you sure what you took was aspirin?"
