"What is your name sir?" asked Prince Rhydian to the young fellow who was constantly fidgety. "Good sir, may I take your hat, coat and cane?" asked Kristina politely and so he did give his hat, coat and cane and was lead inside the drawing room. Sophia brought some blue lotus tea and lemon poppy seeds cake she just baked half an hour ago. With a handkerchief the young fellow wiped the sweat on his face and finally relaxed.
"I am Regalius Petrov, originally from the Western Empire, came here when I was still a bairn, me Dad got a job here in Prague you see and me mam is originally from Prague city and wanted to come back to live in her homeland ever since she married I heard. Anyway I used ro be top of the class as a chap and always diligently attended the readings at the rose mansion as the author was well known and as every teachers would praise the best educator despite not being an actual educator. He was reading for us and we had to analyse the text and criticise it and say what we understood from it. That was the first time I could barely comprehend anything at all although they stories were simple. The thing is no one did really understand, only that it left a very bitter taste as an aftermath. Only one kid understood I would guess Yohan Liebert, quite a clever chap he was. Heard he was from Kinderheim 611, that tragic orphanage that caught fire some twenty six years ago... heard Yohan was the only child who survived and two professors also survived, they were originally from the Plough Kingdom's military force well at that time when Plough Kingdom was still called Czechoslovakia they were elite members of the Czechsolovian military. Don't know where they are now. one of them went into hiding in the Western Kingdom I heard and the other is still here in Prague but I heard he passed away from illness. Anyway That Yohan Kid was always smirking and so I thought he understood but never said a word. He was like a sociopath from the get go, I'm glad he's disappeared. The stories were indeed too dark for children our age back then and what's more, the author always invited some important looking people to the readings. some took a liking to some orphans and took them in but the orphans, they all suddenly vanished. Later in the ball room of the mansion, at a party... all those fifty six 'important' people died mysteriously and the corpses vanished. Since then the author also vanished. That happen when the author's wife and son was away on a holiday to the Western Empire." said the young fellow.
"I see, we learnt enough from you I guess, maybe some of your reading mates would show up soon, there's still an hour till lunch. Thank you for your time Sir Petrov." Said Rhydian. "Oh, I don't think anyone else will call. To be honest, I am the sole survivor of the children from the readings. I was nervous to come here you know. The rest either disappeared or died. And Yohan... He disappeared however well he seemed a bit... back then... like someone who is indeed emotionless and heartless. But I did once hear that after his foster parents were brutally murdered, he had a bullet in his skull but I do not know if he survived or not, heard his twin sister was not injured but was mentally petrified. Oh I did hear that a genius neurosurgeon successfully operated on Yohan but a few days later both him and her sister disappeared from the hospital. And before they disappeared, the director and his corrupted three surgeons who supported him died of poisoned candy. That's all I know, so I will take my leave." said Regalius Petrov.
The young fellow hastened to wear his coat and hat back and took his cane and went away while hiding his face with the collar of his coat. "Now that was a big risk this fellow took for us." said Marques Helio.
After lunch which was Spicy beef hand pulled noodles made by Sophia their horses were ready and they set out for Konvalinka village which was about a three hour horse ride. They stopped at the nearest brothel at hand each half an hour for their horses to drink some water from their horse water fountain. Sadly there weren't any inns nearby. Plough Kingdom had many brothels and only a few tourist inns around near the mountains and springs, most tourist hotels were in Prague since that's the only city foreigners would visit. After crossing through the forest in the Konvalinka mountain they finally reached their destination and found and inn to stay the night in. "Looks like we cannot set out until the day after tomorrow now. Didn't expect for the author to be hiding in such a remote village. And now we have yet to find him." Said a frustrated Rhydian who drunk the tea he ordered like he was chugging down liquor, however he never had any liquor in his life, neither did any of his companions or people of the Western Empire and Leiden Empire. Liquor was strictly forbidden in thise Empires as it was detrimental to one's health especially the liver, it would damage the liver and if taken too much one would be highly intoxicated and would have liver and kidney failure. It was also banned because of the health problems after a hangover. However whener frustrated, the people of the Western Empire would chug down any beverages they are having as if it was beer or something when it wasn't and the people of Leiden Empire would have very spicy foods, at least level five spicy rice cakes were most common, or Buldak fried chicken or green onion fried chicken or Buldak stir-fried noodles.
"Oh my His Highness Emperor Heinrey with black hair and black eyes..." exclaimed the inn owner who was an amiable old man. "Oh my I am sorry dear customer, but you really look like Emperor Heinrey, with his mother's hair and eye colour." he said when he came closer ro pur table. "Well I am the second prince Rhydian of the Western Empire. And this is Crown princess Sophia of Leiden Empire, Prince Yusha; her younger brother, Marques Helio and his wife Marchioness Melody of Leiden Empire, Lady Kristina who is bettothed to Prince Yusha from the Leiden Empire. And I shall guess you are sir Klauss Poppe or your real name is Franz Poryvaev formaer royal knight of the Western Empire while it was still a Kingdom. Author of those children's picture books and benefactor of Kinderheim 611, ex member of Plogh Kindom's old secret police and owner of the Rose mansion, am I correct?" Said Rhydian with a smirk.
Bewildered and shocked but trying not to show it, the old man asked "How did you know and how did you find me, and why were you looking for me your highness?"
