chapter 22-The secrets of Plough Kingdom part 4

Bewildered and shocked but trying not to show it, the old man asked "How did you know and how did you find me, and why were you looking for me your highness?"

"I, Rhydian Faik Alles Lazlo, second prince of the Western Empire and currently the crown prince has been investigating the matter of the disappearance of Royal Knight Franz Poryvaev, son of the former Count Poryvaev for quite a while now, how would I not recognise the demeanor of a Royal Knight of the Western Empire? It all became clear as you thought I looked exactly like my father but with my grandmother's hair and eye colour. Only an insider who was working at the Imperial Palace would know that. At the time you were a knight it was still a Kingdom rather than an Empire, your demeanor is still that of a Royal Knight instead of that of an Imperial Knight, the brooch you are wearing is tattered and worn out a little but still will be as good as new once washed properly after soaking in vinegar water since it is made out of gold and blue saphires, the design is outdated of course as it once was the brooch design the old Royal Knights would wear. I see You cherished it well." replied Rhydian.

"I see, then ask away Your Imperial Highness. But I would like to ask how is the first son? I don't recall I caught the name." said Franz Poryvaev calmly. "Oh please take a seat beside us and let us discuss matters while having tea and cake together, my elder brother's name is Kai Rauf Alles Lazlo and he has a twin sister, my elder sister's name is Lari Mirzaev Alles Lazlo. Anyway enough about the Imperial family, I want to ask about those children's books, and whatever you did after resigning from Royal Knight comander post." replied Rhydian.

"As you may have heard I became very intrigued about children's education so sponsored Kinderheim 611 but wasn't involved in their experiments. They used malice, anger and hatred to teach the students and make them fight each other. Back then we badly wanted to produce young children, especially boys who were perfect in every manner, without any emotions as emotions tend to get in the way of logic. We wanted highly intelligent children with superior genes, but they all failed except for one, which is my distant cousin's son, Yohan Liebert, a real psychopath who was behind the arson at Kinderheim 611. He only said a few words to make all children and staff of the orphanage fight among themselves, it was a firece battle, the children were aggressive, litres of bloodshed and a whole night of cries, fire started, despite it they kept killing each other and Yohan was at the top of the stairs, on a chair, observing all while still being quiet and composed. I dare say he was already derranged since his birth with superior brain cells. But he is a danger to humanity and hopefully he died. He has disappeared from the world and barely anyone remembers him or those who knew him are mostly all dead already. There were only two survivors of the fire, one who recently passed away who stayed in Prague Douglas Schwein, he was set on making other kids like Yohan till his last breath and Peter Petunia now under the name of Ivankovich Patrovski hiding in the Western Empire, raising orphans with love like parents would and saw that those children are better than those raised at Kinderheim 611, raising children with love is better than raising them as military force. I regret what I did deeply, I instilled darkness and fear inside those children through my picture books, I made most of them go insane till they needed therapy in early age, poor all those innocent children. The ones who were put in Kinderheim 611 were the offsprings of some generals of the revolutionary army back in the day. The King ruling Czechoslovakia back then was blood thirsty and corrupted, as well as powerful, only after about fifteen years did the revolutionary army win and now we have this current peace with the new King who is planning to develop Plough Kingdom even more. Although I did like it better when Plough Kingdom was called Czechoslovakia you know, anyway this is the new era, the new dynasty, the reign of King Matvey di Volshe who was originally an Imperial Knight of Western Empire... Still cherishing his knight brooch like I do. I sure hope the world will remain at peace, I found peace once I came to live here in seclusion, running a small inn." Said Franz Poryvaev with tears in his aged eyes.

"Heed my words young ones, when one is young and strong, one would often do things we would later regret as we slowly age, eating away at us, the real monsters in our lives are ourselves, people can be whatever they want but it is best to choose not to be a monster. The fifty six people who died in the ball room of my Mansion, I fed them poisoned wine on purpose, they were derranged monsters who wanted to create more and more species like them, I couldn't let that happen so I finished them off, they were burried under the dark red rose garden behind the mansion. If you came here to punish me then I won't complain." Said the old Franz Poryvaev regretfully.

Rhydian took a deep breath and sighed then said " I believed in you as you were my grandfather's Knight. Although you committed those sins, you didn't commit treason in any way but that doesn't lessen the weight of your sins, however you seem like you had a fair share of your karma and redeemed yourself after repenting, so I believe there to be redemption for you. Thank thee for your advices. Now heed my order as Imperial crown prince of Western Empire. You are to remain here as the inn owner for the rest of your numbered days, not a foot to be set outside Konvalinka village, redeem yourself further and do small acts to help the people of this village and help in the maintenance of peace in the village and see to it if children are being bullied by other children. I suggest you become an educator in the village's school on the condition that you treat them with love and affection and kindness." ordered Prince Rhydian with much authority on his voice.

'His imperial Highness Prince Rhydian Faik Alles Lazlo is indded very fit to be an emperor' thought Sophia in full admiration.

The old Franz Poryvaev bowed to the prince and accepted his decree, thanked the Prince with all his heart and offered their stay at the inn to be completely free of charge.
