Azula and Bumi
"Sokka, Sokka, hellllooo." I come back to my sense while Aang is calling out to me and waving his hand back in forth in front of my face to grab my attention.
"Huh, oh what" I reply without thinking
"You were going to tell me about what happened yesterday before you froze completely" He questions me with a befuddled expression
"What.." 'think Sokka, think...' "no I wasn't" 'genius Sokka'.
Aang just looks at me like I'm an idiot "Sokka 2 minutes ago I woke up and asked you what was going on with you last night and you were about to respond before freezing, I was there what do you mean you weren't about to tell me" he says
"... oh right, what I was going to say was before I spaced out was that it was just a nightmare, don't worry about it," I tell him
His whole scrunches up and he squints at me with a suspicious look before his whole look does a 180 and he says with a happy expression "Okie dokie I'll go wake up katara then, I'm glad you're fine in that case" before leaving presumably to wake up katara.
*Phew*
"System what do you mean I can't tell anyone about you," I ask

"Fine I won't tell anyone it doesn't matter anyway"

"Oooh, can I use this to level up and get more stat points," with that thought right before I can click on the mission alert I hear my sister.
"Sokka let's go!" she yells out
"I'm coming!" I reply

As we were waiting at the location we agreed upon I decided to look through the new mission.

'WHAT! Not if when the deal goes south. in other words the negotiations won't go through. I cant tell Aang or Katara either because I can't tell them about the system'
'I have to be on my guard if that's the case' as I'm thinking this these 3 beautiful girls approach us if it wasn't for their fire nation attire I would've thought them no different than any normal teenagers though I suppose you can say the same about us.
Out of curiosity, I used the observation skill I messed around with last night before falling asleep on the three girls what I saw genuinely terrified me.

'Out of curiosity last night I had checked Aang and Katara's levels and they were 46 and 30 respectively if that's the case we are doomed just that cute Azula girl is enough to take us down'
{Levels are circumstantial they vary from person to person and they don't necessarily decide a battle}
'then what's the point of having levels if they don't mean anything'
{Levels are achieved through experience but sometimes raw power trumps experience a level 15 bender vs a level 15 non-bender has the bender coming out on top 99%, of course, these things can't be truly quantified given how circumstantial things can be.}
'If that's the case we might win, but that's not the objective, the objective is protecting tomtom and rescuing Bumi'
As they lower Bumi from his coffin with a chain I hear him cry out "Hi everybody!"
"You brought my brother?" asks the gloomy-looking one, Mai was it?
"He's here we're ready to trade," says Aang
Azula turns to Mai and proceeds to say "I'm sorry but a thought just occurred to me we're going to trade a powerful earthbending king for a baby, it doesn't seem like a very fair trade now does it."
I notice Mai's expression seemed to change for a split second before putting her mask back on pretending to contemplate "hmm, you're right it doesn't seem very fair, the deal's off!"
The guard's then after receiving a signal from Mai pull Bumi back up who just seems amused with the whole situation "Whoa see you guys later HAHAHA *snort*"
"Bumi!" Aang cries out before running after him disregarding his whole disguise and identity.
"Aang watch out!" I cry out to Aang as I see her let out a huge torrent of azure-colored flames from her fist in his direction.
Aang hears out my call and doges at the last second with his airbending knocking away the hat he was wearing disguising his arrow tattoos.
I knew the cat was out of the bag when I heard Azula say "the avatar, why this must be my lucky day" she proceeded to follow Aang who by this point had used his glider to reach Bumi.
Mai and the acrobat charge me and my sister. "We need to get the baby out of here," says Katara. "Way ahead of you sis" I had already blown Appa's whistle and he should be here any moment now.
As we made our way to the narrow side of the platform to board Appa, out of nowhere a punch flies out from under my feet almost hitting me and knocking me off balance but I barely dodge with her fist having grazed my leg.
'That was close there's no way I could've managed that without the extra dexterity points'
Before I could even finish my thought my hand reacted before my thoughts did by flicking my boomerang in one fell swoop batting aside 3 knives flying in my direction. I turn to see Mai standing there with her knives in hand.' What is wrong with her she could've hurt Tom-Tom didn't she say she was his older sister, I knew it the fire nation truly are all evil, every last one of them.'
My sister starts waterbending against ty lee drawing Mai's attention simultaneously.
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Appa, and knowing my sister can hold her own I run towards him for the sake of keeping Tom-Tom safe, I board Appa, tie down the baby, and head back towards Katara I can just faintly hear Mai tell Katara "How are you gonna fight without you're bending frankly I have no idea what they're talking about but I wasn't about to let that indirect insult pass not now, not now when I'm special.
" I seem to manage just fine, thank you very much," I say before throwing out my boomerang "Sokka Style Secret Technique: throw the boomerang as hard as you can HIYAAAH" boomerang completely hits its intended target Mai's hand knocking away all her knives. Appa lands and proceeds to use its tail to airbend a strong current knocking away the 2 girls and allowing Katara to climb aboard.
"They took away my bending!" my sister tells me nearly hyperventilating "what, what do you mean?" I ask back "I said they took awa-... it's back," she then goes ahead and shows me by shoving her hands bending a small blob of water in my face.
"Ok I get it already," I tell her batting away her hands " Look there's Aang we have to go help him"
"How did they take your bending anyways," I ask as we make our way to Aang who seemed to be talking to Bumi at this point. "That acrobatic girl she punched my arm in weird places and it went all numb I couldn't move it or use my bending with it, it's like it just stopped working.
"Huh, I guess you could say you were properly disARMED..*pffft* HAHAHAha... ahhh that one's a classic" I sigh while wiping a nonexistent tear off my face, even Tom-Tom was laughing and clapping his hands. Katara then doused me in the water she still had in her flask... but it was worth it.
We finally reached Aang but when we got close he used his glider to just jump on Appa. "Hey Aang where's Bumi," I ask him. Aang goes ahead and explains the situation with Bumi and something about positive jingles and negative Jiang and apparently the neutral pringle is the best or whatever... I wasn't really listening since we were out of danger I was munching on some smoked beef jerky.
"That just leaves one question," I state ominously and Aang tenses up "what do we do with the baby," I ask

We all look at each other and nod, later that night Aang went up to the governor's mansion and left Tom-Tom on the balcony next to his parents.
'... now what's this about mission rewards,' I say while rubbing my hands together as if trying to warm them up.
