The girls in the cozy room looked up expressionlessly as three young boys walked out of the green blaze. The eldest was around fifteen, while the other two were eleven and eight, all in casual three-fourths and T-shirts.
"You could not have been any more earlier than this." Karalyn taunted.
The two sisters had been waiting almost half an hour for their idiotic brothers.
"We did not mean to be this late. It's just tha-" Stensen started to explain just to be interrupted by Sierra, who rolled her eyes."Excuses~"
Alpheus sighed. "Well, we are sorry for this, but can we get started now?"
"Hmph." Sia consented.
"Peach!"
"Yes, miss~" The little elf popped into the room.
Sia smiled at the eagerness of the elf, "Prepare refreshments for us, please." "Yes, miss."
"Now, don't waste our time standing there like the idiots that you are." Karalyn glared at the guys, who were still standing near the fireplace.
"Ouch!" Samuel acted as if someone stabbed him. Overdramatically placing his hand on his chest.
Soon all five were comfortably sitting in the U-shaped lounge in different positions.
"So." Alpheus started, "One year to go."
Everyone nodded seriously.
One year for the canon to start. One year for Voldemort's first attempt to come back to life. One year for Harry Potter to start Hogwarts. One year for everything to start going to shit.
"Yeah," Kar answered, "We have to start preparing soon."
"We are not going to go hunt the Horcruxes," Sam said as if stating a fact.
"Ya. We are just going to prevent as many deaths as we can. And give hints to the trio when they are at dead ends," Kar said.
"Though we might have to if something changes and the trio fails to destroy them," Sia stated.
The five siblings knew the importance of letting the golden boy grow. The golded trio had bonded together so beautifully solely through the things they had experienced. But prevention is better than cure.
Mostly the quintet had decided to interfere passively. However, the siblings knew that they would have to make significant changes to prevent deaths like Cedric's, Snape's, Dumbledore's, and obviously Sirius'. No one wanted to talk about that.
"I don't think we need to interfere much in the starting years, right?" Sten asked.
"Yeah. The boy needs experience for the real showdown," Al nodded, "We're just going to help from the sidelines."
"That's right. But better safe than sorry." Karalyn said.
The others nodded. They all knew that it would take time to prepare everything.
They have to be ready if the situation goes to hell.
"Do you think we should come in contact with him before he turns eleven?" Sten asked.
"Hmm... I think a little interaction would be good." Samuel said,
"Anyone usually treasures the kindness that they receive during the shitiest times of their lives. Be it a short or significant act. People don't forget it easily. And none of us here would disagree that till now the environment that Harry has lived in is quite harsh for a mere child."
Before they died, Samuel aimed to become a physiatrist as he had always been interested in psychology. He said that he found people's reactions fascinating. Because of this, he had done a considerable amount of research on human behavior.
"But we can't just approach a child who has never had much social interaction." Karalyn gave her view.
"You are right. How about a chance meeting ?" Stensen said.
"Sia is the only one near his age who would be able to stay in contact with him all year," Alpheus noted.
Sierra groaned at that. Though she was good at making friends, she still found it a little awkward to meet new people. Especially a little boy with whom she might not have anything in common.
Everyone in the room gave her a look. She stared back at them.
"Fine. I'll pay Little Whinging a visit daily for a week. But if I don't meet with Harry during that time, then the job goes to Sam. He isn't much younger than Harry! " Sia sighed and said.
"We can't give up that easily," Alpheus stated.
Sam sighed and said to Sia, "How about we do alternate weeks? One week you, one week me."
"Alright! " Sia grinned.

The day after the discussion itself, Sierra decided to get to her job. Though she was a lazy girl who loved nothing more than procrastinating her work, she also knew that this was an important job.
It was a sunny Saturday morning.
Though Karalyn was on holiday, she was unable to join Sia. Today, unfortunately, she had an appointment with one of her friends. And considering how few friends she had, this was a rare thing to see. Due to this, Sia chose to go by herself.
Sierra informed her parents in the morning that she would be visiting a park near Little Whinging in the afternoon. And though the White couple was pretty strict, they did not mind their daughters going out alone. Both of them were open-minded people who did not believe in the ideology of keeping kids in the dark.
They knew women in pureblood society were considered inferior and someone whose only work was to look pretty as a doll. But they did not want their daughters to be like that. Because of this, the girls were taught self-defense at an early age by their father(an Auror) himself.
Around noon Peach the house-elf apparated in one of the alleys near the Little Whinging park along with her miss. Then the cute creature handed a small basket to the little girl and wished her a safe and happy day before popping away.
Sia came out of the alley and walked to the park just beyond the road. It was a relatively small ground, with a few rusted swings and slides scattered around. Small kids were playing in the dirt, whereas some teenage girls sat on the only two benches in the corner.
Sierra scanned the playground once to see if her 'target' was around. On finding negative results, she decided to make herself comfortable somewhere. She could not give up so quickly, so she decided to wait for a few hours.
She went near a tree in an empty corner and spread a small checked picnic blanket in its shade.
Sitting down on the soft cloth, Sia took out the muggle novel that she had kept with her.
After three hours, Sierra heard some commotion that brought her out of her fantasy world. She looked up from her book and searched for the source. After paying close attention, she found that it was the sound of boys laughing loudly. It was coming from under a tunnel outside the park that led to the road to private drive.
Sia decided to follow her intuition and take a look. She quickly moved towards the tunnel and took a quick look at what was happening inside.
On the dimly lit road under the tunnel, five boys around eleven or twelve were ganging up on a small boy. The kid was lying on the street, covered in dirt, in a fetus position. He ducked his head low in his arms, an attempt to protect it. Only his dark jet-black hair was visible.
Sierra stared at the scene with wide eyes for almost a minute before she decided to take action. She used her magic and took control of a few of the nearby sticks. Using her magic as if it were a part of her body, she raised them high in the air and dropped them on the bullies.
The boys were young and got scared very quickly after Sia used some rocks too. They ran away with their tails between their legs.
The little girl waited for a while, knowing that if the boys came again, she would be unable to handle them easily.
After a while, Sia slowly came out of her spot and moved to the poor boy on the street.
"Hello?" Sia said, "They are gone now you can come out."
"..." The boy did not say anything for a while.
Sia was also a patient person. She stayed and waited for the kid to come up.
After a few minutes, the dark-haired boy finally peeked over his knee at Sia. Coincidentally, Sia was also staring at the boy, waiting for a response.
Beautiful.
That was the first word that came to her mind when Sierra saw those dark green eyes. But it did not take her more than a minute to put two and two together.
Black hair. Green eyes.
Her eyes traveled to the boy's hand, which was clutching an old round specs frame.
There was no doubt. Sia had met her target.
She offered a hand to the skinny boy, which he took hesitantly.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Sierra White." Sia introduced herself with a smile.
The boy tentatively gave his hand to her and said, "Harry Potter."
"..."
"You did that, right? "
