'Yeah! She might as well know about the dead and how they kill each other under the influence of their own vices.
She had seen too many of these incidents. Wife abandoning her in laws and children to run away to live a better life or vice versa. It was the era where food and shelter were scarce and even to get a loaf of dry bread one had to fight tooth and nail for it.
Ronald had only ever implemented policies which increased his power or favored the nobility. Those who lived dignified lives before resorted to looting and killing.
She felt all the indignation of such atrocities and an inexplicable hatred rose in her heart.
'All humans should just die!'
'They were responsible for their own doom yet they still dare to blame the heavens.'
'It is only right that they were punished.'
Jane was fuming. Her thoughts were totally in line with this.
Her eyes were blood shot. All she thought about was killing and more killing.
Kill! Kill! Kill everyone!
She searched for that familiar figure that she loathe for fifteen years.
Ah! Found him!
"Y…o..u d..d..o..n't come over!"
"I''l....ki….ll...you"
He was shivering and his hands were sweaty. His hair was a mess and he was rugged and seemed to have aged greatly.
"O….You will kill me?" She mocked.
"Are you sure it's not the other way round?"
"Hmm. Mother loved you dearly right? She would be happy to be united with you"
"I…I was wrong."
"I promise I will cherish you my son. Please spare me!"
He had not realized. Good.
"You will really cherish me?"
"Yes."
"The seal"
"What?"
"Seal"
Ronald was dumbfounded.
"Right! The seal, the seal. Here it's all yours."
"Take it"
"Mmm"
"Then father please accept my gift."
"Here is a magical jewel."
Ronald took it with trembling hands and suspicion apparent in his eyes.
He suddenly felt a wave of power rush towards him and he immediately felt invigorated.
He lashed out at Jane. "Take that you foolish brat."
Jane smiled mockingly at her scum of a father.
The hand was inches away from Jane's face.
"I hope you liked my gift 'father'.
Ronald felt his hand and feet freezing. The biting cold struck against his very soul and felt himself being ripped apart. Every time his soul re-joined itself it would be shred into pieces again.
He felt that he was being eaten alive with animals clawing at his hides.
It hurts! It truly did!
He could feel his consciousness fading away yet the pain did not go.
On the contrary he could distinctly feel the pain in his soul.
All that he heard last were Jane's mocking words-"Take care of yourself well my beloved father."
