Neuron told me he asked the palace to give him a day off. Just for today. I was glad about the news until he said, "So go ahead and go to your shop. I'll wait here for you until you come home."

I wanted to tell him I'm going to take a day off too. However, I'm worried he might find it suspicious that I am not really that concerned about my shop.

"I'm going on duty for a half-day then take the rest of the day off."

He nodded. "Come home quickly."

So heavy-hearted, I dressed up as if I'm really going to my shop.
