Chapter 63: Kaliwa Island

[1 day before D-day]

The first time is always nerve-racking. A small rocking movement of the boat would make me tighten my grip on Neuron.

It just felt like the boat would turn upside down at any given moment.

Sometimes the saltwater would also splash on our faces. I feel very cold and Neuron's warmth is not really enough to keep me warm.

But overall, in contradiction to my wild thoughts, the sail went smoothly. The waves are not strong. The ride was not really eventful.

Neuron has been urging me to sleep and I did because I started feeling seasick. I feel like throwing up the whole time. Plus it's freezing cold.

This is actually the first time I've ever ridden water transportation.

I woke up easily when he tugged me. "We're here," he whispered and kissed the top of my head.

I looked around. We arrived at the pier and the place just looked magnificent. No kidding.
