Chapter 64: Hostel

The sun isn't even up in the sky yet, but the streets of Kaliwa Island are already busy with people going from here and there. Some are cleaning their front yards, some are sweeping the streets.

Some stores are already open for business. Some houses have smokes exiting from their chimneys.

"Let's ask around," Neuron told me and I just nodded.

We managed to find a plastic bag out of the supplies so we put the fish in a plastic bag. We paced across the street towards a woman sweeping the front yard of their house.

Her hair is tied in a bun.

"Excuse me," Neuron politely called her attention. "Do you mind if I ask?"

The woman turned her head on us then smiled. "Sure. How may I help you, sir?" Then she fixed her eyeglasses.

"Is there a hotel here where we could stay?"

"We don't have a hotel here."

Neuron and I exchanged glances.

So what are we gonna do now?

"But we do have a hostel. They accept travelers as dwellers."
