Chapter 72: Her Version of Truth

I don't know what the Chief whispered to Neuron but it affected him tremendously. He called the interrogation for recession and announced to recommence the hearing tomorrow.

As the guards dragged me out of the royal court, I called the prince repeatedly.

"Neuron! Neuron! Look at me! Talk to me!"

But he dissipated among the security guards surrounding him.

I feel like my head is about to explode. I need answers! I need to be enlightened! Because if I don't, I might lose my sanity.

The guards bringing me suddenly stopped their paces so I had to stop too. I saw the bulky physique of Michael.

He had that usual 'I-don't-care' look. He's not looking at me with accusing eyes. But he's also not looking at me as someone he knows.

He looks like he's just here to deliver a command.

"Bring her to Kamok," he simply told them.

Kamok?

"But she's a suspect of treason," one guard debated.
