Chapter 76: Loor's Truth

"It's still hard to believe, Loor. How the prince made me believe you two aren't acquaintances. He even acted jealous when you said you were going to take me with you."

"I was caught off guard too. I never thought I'd meet him there. I wasn't prepared. I resented the 1st princess for sending me to the camp. And I hated him for letting that happen." He smirked. "But he resented me too because I never talked to him for six years."

Is that why they really seemed like strangers? Is that why Neuron looked really pissed? Not because he was jealous but because he was angry at Loor?

"How about the Commander?"

He shook his head. "We couldn't find him."

"And the other teams?"

"Only team one managed to escape. Everyone else is in prison." He sighed. "It's really beguiling. How the Chief managed to hide thousands of people for such a long time."

It's true. The Chief was meticulous in his scheme. And it's maddening that I fell on his scheme.
