How it becomes like this 4

- Flagship's Bridge -

Soon after both commanders execute their orders, Revolt-1 peaceful days finally end that day. Flagship commanders just didn't realize for what reason a piece of an unknown experiment to turn into a full-fledged conflict to lay their hand on it.

"All units don't wander outside battleships cover," Wolf Rider's captain emphasizes.

He then instructs his ship's crew to prepare the main cannon so it's ready to fire at all times. About a minute afterward, their battleships enter their fire range and so do their opponent base too. "Fire the main cannon!" He commands his ship.

- Revolt-1 Defense Base -

"Put the barrier and turn on the backup power supply to resupply the barrier's power. Get the recharging engine ready as well just in case this battle drags longer than expected," RADM Yavor directs.

An alarm rings on one of the operator radar. "Sir, enemy fighter jets are closing in. Some of them already firing missiles on us," one of the operators informs.

"Return fire with anti-missiles and intercept these missiles locked on us. Order nearest squad to intercept enemy's jets while maintaining our defensive position," RADM Yavor orders his troops.

- Wolf Rider's one of the dogfighters on the front line -

"These morons... Don't call me Mad Dog if I don't finish you off today you bastard!" One of Wolf Rider's combatants shouts on his comm.

He maneuvers his aircraft to evade his enemy who tails him and shooting at his ship while trying to avoid getting locked by the missile launcher auto-aim system of his opponent's aircraft. He dodges as hard as he can to save his a** from getting encircled inside the enemy's formation. *Bang Bang Bang*

"These stubborn madmen... Cut some slacks will you!? Argh!!" He lets out another cry. His ship got blasted by another enemy's aircraft. Battlefield gets heated to the point you can see tons of explosions here and there. They try their best to hang on themselves to survive this battle.

- Revolt-1 Defense Base -

"How long will they come here?" RADM Yavor asks.

"It's estimated they will arrive in 10 minutes, Sir," one of the operators explains.

"Tell them to increase their pace otherwise we no longer have hope to in succeed this mission. I'm afraid it won't be long before they breach our last line and reach our base," RADM Yavor tells them. He tries his best to look as normal as he usually is even though he's anxious due to how dire their front-line situation is.

Right after the estimated time elapsed, LTC Harrington and his troops alongside other cities come and strengthen front-line defense. Unfortunately, these troops aren't looking convincing at all due to how lacking their weaponry are, compared to modern weaponry in this era.

"Prepare to join the fight!" LTC Harrington directs.

With LTC Harrington's precise timing on supporting RADM Yavor's Base directly reverses the whole balance that previously took place on the battlefield. Their arrival manages to boost surviving soldier morale to jump back into the battlefield. That slight morale gain truly helps them a lot to overpower those attackers.

- Wolf Rider's Flagship -

"Everyone retreat to the deep sea and shake off your tails. We're going for plan B," Captain tells.

Then Capt. Leonard, Wolf Rider's captain, calls the same shady guy who got contacted by Ernest who requested help. Soon after his call answered Capt. Leonard states, "It's your time to participate."

"I'll wait on Deep Sea (12,9) just straight ahead from your direction. Try to lure as many as you can so we can kill two birds with a stone this time," Shady man directs him.

"Understood. I'll try my best," Capt. Leonard replies.

- On Revolt-1 army side -

LTC Harrington communicates with ambush unit's leader, "LTC Harrington speaking here. The ambush squad cuts down their escape route and buys us time to close into the enemy's commanding ship. Try your best to avoid losing your units. Over."

"Acknowledged, over," ambush unit's leader confirms.

Then Harrington asks his subordinate, "Is main cannon ready yet?"

"Yes, Sir," one of them tells.

"Target enemy frigate's engine. Try to disable it so we can finish them once and for all," LTC Harrington confidently execute his command.

"All pursuing units hold their left side so our ambush can hit their blind spot," LTC Harrington further commands chasing units.

- Escaping Leonard's units -

Then Capt. Leonard orders his mercenary to retreat strategically while trying to attract as many enemies as they can. Well, that's mercenary anyway. They won't care that much about their cannon fodder. They never expected that they encountered enemy's ambush on their way of retreating which really shock them and open up a hole in their formation due to their need to maintain their speed to contain their main pursuer which contains some of the Revolt-1 defense squad and LTC Harrington whom already departing on his commanding frigate.

"Fortify our left side formation. Don't let them reach our ships," Capt. Leonard directs.

"Capt., they will fire their railgun on us. We can barely dodge it. Need instruction, Capt.," navigator says.

"Use our shield and dodge as much its heat as we can and let our shield cover the rest of its damage," Leonard states.

"Send a distress signal to them and urge their unit to go to our estimated coordinate route immediately before we have to abort this mission," Leonard demands and he looks a bit irritated at how insane this mission that he currently accepts really is.

Tons and tons of combatants die on the battlefield one after another. Some got caught in railgun fire. Others are getting killed by other dogfighters and so on. It's super messy for either side and makes them lose too much when they have to back down from this mission.

- Vancourt Military Base -

*Siren blaring* "Unknown small size battleship spotted on the outer atmosphere on top of Vancourt. All soldiers go to your station," System blaring. "Unknown..," system keeps notifying the base.

"All units prepare yourself to counter opponent's aggression. We must not..," Maj. Darren has to stop his speech because of a stunning scene just getting transmitted on Vancourt Base's command center. That unknown battleship drops an extremely fast bomb and it suddenly blows half of the city. *KABOOM!!*

"They're full of madness," Dr. Ernest compliments his savior.
