It was already two months since Calissa brought me here. After introducing to the Alpha, he immediately announced it to the whole pack to welcome me as their official member. Now, I am an omega living peacefully in this small house.
At first, I thought that the people won't accept me but instead it's the other way around. They are very friendly and willing to help each other which I love about to this pack. They didn't treat you as someone else but rather as a family member.
I look at the door when someone knocks on it.
"Come in" I said before the door opens.
"You excited?" Calissa asked when she already entered the house. There was an excitement in her eyes the same with mine.
Today is my first day in school. This will be my first time to go into the school. Since when I was a child, I was already home schooled which is really sucks. Never experience having a classmates, do cheating, being stressed of school works, being late, absent, and having a crush to other teen age boys in school is kinda regrettable.
My parents was so over protective to me. I even don't have a memorable childhood since most of the time, I spent them inside the mansion. When they died, I was immediately sent to the dungeon by my brother where I already grew up and spent most of my adolescent life.
"Let me fix your hair" Calissa said. I sat in front of the mirror. With my nod as her permission, she starts to do things with my hair. I am not familiar with hairstyles but I am amaze of how she does it in a beautiful manner.
I look myself at the mirror. My natural curly red hair was braided with some loose curls at the side. My emerald eyes is sparkling with excitement and my lips wear a smile.
"Do Alphas also go to school?" I asked all of a sudden.
"Yup" Calissa answered popping the letter 'p'. "Some of the Alphas are still a student. Like my brother, the position was transferred to them at the young age but that doesn't mean they won't have to go to school. The Alpha King value education and with or without position, everyone should be educated. So education is a must"
Does that mean, I will going to see my brother again? The thought sent fear all over my body. I don't know what to do if ever I will see him again. I know that if the time comes, he will do everything to get me again and imprison to his damn dungeon.
"Done!" Calissa exclaimed after she put the last pin in my hair.
"It's beautiful. Thank you" I said, amaze. I was looking at her from the mirror and so does her.
She smile at me. She look at her wrist watch and gasped.
"Oh my God! Ami, we need to get hurry or the train will leave us" she said, panicked was laced in her tone.
My eyes widened. I abruptly grab my shoulder bag and we both hurried to the door. I didn't bother to lock it and we just run to the train station hoping we could still made it to time.
"My brother's gonna kill me if I will be late in my first day of class" she said worriedly.
I sighed. Alpha Rider is friendly but strict when it comes to time. He wants everything to be on or before time or else you'll be punish.
We both yelled in happiness when we reach the train station and saw the train still on it. Good thing, we already booked our tickets, perks of having a time conscious Alpha.
Our tickets are both going to the Were City—the center point of all packs and this is also where the castle of the Alpha King located. The Were City has it all, from the public market, malls, restaurants, public plaza and the school. The Elites also lived here. Elites are those werewolves that are part of the council. Like the Alpha King, Elites also came from the chosen family. For all I knew, there are five families that composed the Elites. They are the Vlademorra, Beñuveina, Morrocus, Fedolima, and Le Jeminez.
"Know what" I look at Calissa when she spoke. We are now sitting at the room 341. There are divisions inside the train in where each division can accompanied four persons. The room number was already stamped in our tickets.
"Being in school is fun not until you saw the faces of the Elites"
I look at her bewildered. "Is there something wrong with their faces like it could give off some bad vibes to someone who woke up with a good mood?"
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah! They are freaks! They bully every omega in school and act like someone-who-is-so-high more than anyone else"
"Wait, you said they are Elites, it means they are really higher than anyone else, well except the Alpha King and Luna Queen though" I said in a matter of fact.
"Na uh! They are only the grandchildren of the Elites. They are not really the Elites but they act as if they are" she said emphasizing 'the Elite'.
A server came with her cart full of foods and candies that halted our conversation.
"Do you want anything else?" the server asked. I look at her cart to find something to eat that interest me but ended up grimacing at the sight. Her foods look weird and even the names of it. I'm not even sure if it will tastes good despite of it's nasty look.
"Two pieces of sour candy" Calissa said pointing at the jar.
"That's 5 dollars" the server said which Calissa immediately pay. My eyes widened. 5 dollars for a two pieces of candies? And that candies are sour!
The server moved to the next room after she received the payment. My face contort when Calissa extended her right hand offering me the candy.
She laughed when she saw my expression. "Oh c'mon, it's delicious. Try it" she said, convincing me. She push the candy to me further which I sternly decline.
"No. From the looks and name of it, it's not already promising"
She chuckled. "Well, you can't find these candies in the other store. The foods and candies that the train offer are made by the witches itself"
Trains are owned by the witches. They run this through their spells which helps us a lot in the transportation. Werewolves and witches have a civil relationship with each other unlike with the vampires, the archenemy of werewolves.
"Even so, I still don't want to taste it. You can have it all you want, just... don't mind me" I said before giving her a wry smile.
"Hahahaha...fine. You'll gonna regret this in your entire life. Haven't tasted this candy or any food here in the train can be regretful" she said and open one of the candy. The vile smell immediately mixed in the air and it makes me wants to vomit. I cover my nose.
"I swear I won't"
"Mmm.." Calissa softly mumble while closing her eyes, feeling the taste of the candy dissolving in her tongue. I grimace.
The whole ride makes me wanna puke. Calissa was enjoying so much with the sour candies that after she finished the two, she ordered again.
Luckily, an hour passed and we already reach our destination.
"This is the Were City" I mumbled as I wander my eyes around. The place feels magical.
"The place is so different right? It's because of the witches, they make the Were City to be something magical so it won't look boring" Calissa explained. "Let's go? The Academy is over there. We don't want to be late, aight?"
I nodded and we walk to the direction she pointed. The werewolves seems to be busy at all that no one even take a glance in our direction. Not that I want their attention, though.
"Remember when we enter the Academy, you should avoid the so-called Elites" she warned me but I just shrugged.
Calissa stop from walking and face me. She hold me on my shoulder and look directly in my eyes. My brows knitted at her action.
"One more thing, whatever happens, you must avoid the Alpha King" she said sternly that made me confused. Alpha King?
"Wait, are you telling me that the Alpha King is also a student?" I asked, surprised.
"What?! You didn't know that?"
I rolled my eyes. "You never told me."
I removed her hands from holding my shoulder. Good thing I was already wearing a gloves. I started to wear this when I became a member of Black Moon Pack, though confused, Alpha and the whole pack didn't mind it. So was Calissa.
"Ugh! Whatever. Just do what I say" she said then continue to walk. I followed her.
"What's with him by the way? From how you mentioned earlier, he value education so much. I guess that made him kind?"
"He can't control his self" her words made me stop. I don't know but something inside me ache. I simply clutched my chest.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked in a very low voice. Almost a whisper.
Calissa shrugged. "I don't know but they said he have a hard time controlling his wolf and every time he lost his control, he kills"
"Huh? Isn't he the Alpha King?" I asked, bewildered. I slightly punch my chest. The ache is becoming worse and I don't know why.
" Dear, even if he's the Alpha King, he still can't take it. If there is only cure for that, that is his mate" she said.
A wave of pain strike my head. I feel my knees wobble and my body lost it's strength. I suddenly feel my energy drain. I fell in the ground kneeling still clutching my chest. Calissa didn't notice me and continue to talk.
I started to run out of breath. I gasp for air but still no effect. My vision starts to turn black as I watch Calissa's back.
Before I even faint, I heard her say.
"But you know what, he started to lost his control when he was five years old"
