Kingly Aspirations.

'The Hero Hunter had saved the kids? Oh what the hell WHO'S SIDE IS HE ON? WHAT'S HE DOING?'

Aizawa had just too much to deal with today. The risky infiltration to the Yakuza headquarters would be more than enough for any hero to deal with in one day, but with the appearance of the most wanted villain, the situation only got more complicated.

But when said villain seemingly is on the side of justice, the tides had turned to their favor for better or for worse. Who's there to confirm he doesn't have any motives under that façade.

But maybe he doesn't. This Hero Hunter doesn't seem as carefree and youthlike when he appeared at the festival. Back then, he was the typical villain who thought they were above the law.

Now, he was like a conviction-driven madman. Those eyes of his were no different than those who were so focused on their job their surroundings become dulled. It was one full of ambition.

Aizawa could only guess at what that ambition exactly is. What he hoped it wouldn't be however, was world domination.

'With this power, I could take over the world!'

Rui had just slapped the bug in front of him with ease. He looked around and saw the man glaring at him through the top of his green-rimmed glasses.

Rui stared back at the man. Then, he careened right in front of him giving him a frightened shock. The man tried to step back but realized he couldn't move his limbs.

'Am I… too afraid to even move?'

Rui wanted to grab a hold of him right then and there but a child like shout stopped him.

"Stop!" Izuku shouted, not sure if he did the right thing considering his teacher's face of surprise when he did.

Rui's fingers were just about to touch the neck. His sharp nails grazed the man's neck, a little blood trickling. The man clenched his teeth, hands, and butt preparing for his untimely death and was relieved when the boy shouted.

'I should thank him.' He thought.

Rui retracted his hands and walked away in hopes of finding stronger opponents. He couldn't feel anyone's presence, only the fleeting ones in the room currently. Disappointed, he told himself he wouldn't find any here.

He was just about to flee the place when he sensed something being hurled at him from behind. He didn't feel any real threat coming from it so he just let it be. Turns out, it was strands of tape running after him. It looped around him and attempted to pull him in but Rui casually broke out of it.

'Must be the guy with the bandages around him.' Rui deduced.

He disappeared in a flash, leaving behind a rubble for them to clean up and a hole in the roof.

He continued venturing in the building and came across his old teammates who were surprised to see him. No words were uttered between the two, only blood was spilt. He dismembered everyone and anyone he came across with no discrimination.

Even the people he rarely interacted with got to meet his fist and foot.

Then, he finally came across Dabi. Despite having no real attachments to the entirety of the organization, he could at least somewhat feel sympathy for Dabi. Somewhat.

Somewhat, however, wasn't enough to save him from death.

Before killing him, Rui wished the best for Dabi in the afterlife.

He continued killing other members before actually leaving the place.

'I am destined for bigger things, and I think I won't find it here on this world…'

"The Yakuza headquarters had been a battlefield for both heroes and villains alike with the heroes coming out on top mostly unscathed. Even the brave students from U.A managed to pitch in and contribute.

However, the most alarming news is the fact that the Hero Hunter had appeared in the building today. Instead of playing for the villains, he actually assisted the heroes today. This is the first time in months he made the news. During those months, could he have switched allegiance?" The news reporter reported.

Mdm. Todoroki sat in the chair squinting her weak eyes at the tv while her husband was serving her tea. Still not being able to see, she took out her reading glasses and stared at the picture displayed.

"The news is always raving about the Hero Hunter… when will they actually catch him?' Mr. Todoroki saw that his wife's face was still like stone, 'Dear? Dear?"

Mikoto Todoroki didn't reply and continued staring at the tv. Fugaku Todoroki too looked at the tv and had a shock of his life.

What they both saw on the tv was their favorite tenant's face, with the words 'Hero Hunter' displayed.

'But… but… he was so nice. He even bought us this tv!' Fugaku thought.

"That cannot be him… right, dear?" Fugaku asked his wife.

"I… don't think so." she replied unconvincingly.

Unbeknownst to them, someone hid in the shadow watching them from afar.

"Thank you, aunty, uncle. But it is time I leave."

Rui followed where his instincts led him. It was the same 'going' he felt from before. His instincts led him to atop a large mountain which Rui scaled with no difficulty.

At the peak of the mountain, it snowed heavily. The coldness just brushed his skin a little, despite not wearing anything other than a t-shirt and pants.

The top of the mountain was shrouded with a feeling of calmness and serenity that closed Rui's eyes for him. Before he knew it, he was sitting with his legs crossed and was meditating.

Rui opened his eyes and instead of seeing white snow, he saw only white. It was like that time he visited the unknown being.

And just like last time, the voice appeared.

"Glad to see you King…"

"Likewise," Rui responded.

"Do you have any questions for me…?"

"Yes. What is next? For me?"

The voice paused for a few seconds, before answering again.

"As King, you're fate lies not in this world but everywhere. In all worlds…"

"Care to elaborate?"

"As King, you are expected to lead and protect your kingdom from invaders… invaders from other worlds. They too are Kings and Queens, and they too are tasked with protecting their kingdom from invaders."

"So what you're saying is I am the King of the world? And I have to protect it and lead it to battle and victory?"

"Yes Rui…"

Rui mulled over what was just said. He was surprised others were touted as Kings and Queens. He was surprised others were doing the same exact things as he is.

"The first task,' he explained, 'is to invade a world of my choosing…"

Now it is getting all to suspicious. A world of their choosing? It all seems like he is fighting under him.

"Alright. But tell me. Am I fighting for the sake of my King status… or for your petty battles against others like you?"

A smirk could be heard. "I can assure you, it is not petty. But this is for the sake of both of us. It benefits me and as much as it benefits you."

"Please explain."

"The more battles you fight, the stronger you become. At an astonishing rate, you will soon reach the pinnacle of power. And my status will rise the more you win."

"But that seems to simple. What are the catches?" Rui asked.

Another smirk was heard. "You will be sent back to the day you arrived in this world, with the current powers and abilities you have. Everything is reset, and all the amendments you caused will return to zero."

Rui didn't flinch at this development. He had no lingering attachments to anything in that world he supposedly created.

"I wish you luck on your future endeavors Rui Hachimura."

Rui opened his eyes and found him back at the same alley he appeared in many months back.

"Hello Rui, ready for your first task?"

please be assured that it won't be a multiverse. He will be still stuck on MHAverse and since I killed of everybody's favourite character, I decided to bring them back lol. I kind of did this because I was veering away from the plot every second and since its a fan fic… well its gotta be tied to the verse somehow?? I got carried away and this is my attempt to bring it back.
