224. The Truth

That afternoon the cafe was not so crowded with visitors. Rissa was looking through the menu book while memorizing it to recommend it to the visitors.

Not long after, her co-worker came inside, ushering a visitor to sit in the best seat. Rissa was shocked when she saw the person because she knew him.

"Charlos?" Rissa muttered.

The man smiled lopsidedly. Sisil, lounging at the cash register, suddenly gasped and rushed over to the table. Rissa could see her face turning red.

"He-hello, good evening, Mr. William," said Sisil. "How are you, Sir?"

Hold a second! What? Does Sisil know Charlos? How could that be?

"I'm fine, thanks. I happened to be passing by here," said Charlos. Suddenly, his face turned tense, and his eyes kept turning towards Rissa.

Sisil also turned to him, but Rissa couldn't help but stare. Not long after, Rendra came over and sat next to Charlos.

Sisil looked stammers when Rendra smiled kindly at her.
