“It may sound complicated, but I will try to be as clear as I can be. When we first met, it was not the right time. It happened earlier than it should have. Your mind was not ready until now. Please, dear lady, try to stay calm, and I shall tell you all,” he said. He seemed preoccupied and ran his hands through his hair before his eyes found mine again.
“My lady, you look just as you did then, strong and good. I can see who you were in your eyes,” he began.
I swallowed and looked at him nervously, trying to prepare for what was next. “Who was I?”
“You were a young woman, as you are now.”
"How long ago?"
"Centuries . . ."
"I see. Please go on."
