"Uh." Trish sat on the bar counter of their kitchen. "Reign's trial had started."

Tristan halted. Now that he thought about it. How many weeks have passed? Wait, was it just weeks? No. No. It had been months, now!

"What— What happened? How did it go?"

"I am not really sure. Her trial was still on going," Trish told him with a wide smile formed in her face. Tristan suddenly felt relief from his chest at the same time, disappointment.

Tristan just sighed as he sat across from Trish. "Ah."

Trish's brows knitted in confusion. "Are you not happy?"

"I am."

"Then why do you look disappointed?"
