Don't Put The Responsibility Of Your Stupidity On My Head

Sarah, Ivy and Iris came back with three paper bags. Two of which were full of food while the last had cold drinks.

Grace had notified them that they had found a good place to eat. The girls arrived quickly.

"You!! Come here!!"

Grace yelled as she waved both hands in the air when she saw her three friends in the garden. Her scream was loud but since the garden was empty none criticized her.

Otherwise, they would have been embarrassed for their friend's immature behaviour.

"Woah...Did Sarah's soul entrap Grace's body?"

Iris asked Ivy. Ivy gave her a weird look and ignored her. She pouted at being treated like an outcast. She wanted to stomp her foot and argue with Iris for doing that to her however, she still had some concise left inside her.

'Just you wait!! I will treat you like a plague. Hmmp' Iris decided to not talk with Ivy anymore and if she talked to her, she would not respond to her. She should also taste her medicines.

'Only, then she would understand how badly she hurts me when she ignores me.' She was determined.

They covered the distance and reached Athena and Grace.

Grace snatched the paper bags, she skimmed her eyes inside them.

Her face turned crestfallen, "Why you didn't bring any hamburger."

"There weren't any left there."

"How could they don't have at least one???" Grace wailed in sadness after she couldn't find her favourite food item.

Sarah marched to her, "Baby, we tried but we were late and someone took the last piece remaining. I would have asked him to give it to us but Ivy stopped me."

She clarified to Grace since she was also feeling upset for not getting the chance to give that last hamburger. Just like Grace, Sarah too loved hamburgers.

Ivy took the paper bags again and glared at Sarah, "If you want to eat, then eat. I didn't stand and wait in that queue for you just to complain and disregard my hard work and patience." She sat down on the grass and began to take everything from the bag.

After her small confrontation, the girls didn't say a word anymore and started to eat. They sat in a circle and had a hearty meal under the tree's silhouette. Their little argument about the food didn't destroy their happiness and feeling of complete satisfaction they felt as they ate their food. They chatted as they ate. Some jokes and teasings added a charm to their delightful meal. Their faces illuminated their joy.

______________

"Seriously, Sylius?"

Sylius looked in that direction, he saw his twin brother, Ryan giving him a weird look.

Sylius merely raised his eyebrows at him, "What? Did you lose your words? Awww my twinie, I know I am more handsome but I am sincerely sorry to break it off to you that I AM NOT INTO HAIRY CHESTS."

He winked in the end.

"Ewwwww…. What the heck, what shits are you making up?" Ryan shuddered and rubbed his arms to wear off the odd sensations.

"Haha...haa...haa..hahaha…." Sylius would have fallen face flat on the floor if he wasn't saved.

He huffed out air, "Haaa…." He turned towards his saviour, his youngest and most introverted guy among them, Kaden.

"Kaden, my lovely bro. You saved my ass." He thanked him; however, his contentment was short-lived.

Because, the next moment, he found himself with his ass on the ground. It occurred so suddenly that he couldn't get an opportunity to save his poor aching butt.

With the support of his desk, he stood up. His one hand was busy soothing his hurting ass.

"That was a nice one." Ryan gave a thumbs up to Kaden who had a sly smirk playing on his face.

Even their oldest two brothers cackled up at the misery of their little brother. He scowled at his brothers not caring for him nor helping him while he was lying on the ground like a dead fish.

"I am doubting if you are my biological brothers." Sylius dusted off himself.

Kaden used his hand to support his head as he stared at Sylius, "You don't have to use your brainpower to think that since being the oldest one here I know the truth."

This brought out another wave of laughter.

"What do you mean?" Ryan asked gleefully. Concealing the hidden miscues beneath his eyes.

Aiden looked serious, "It pricks my heart to say but the truth can't be denied." Aiden stood up and put his hand on his shoulder.

"You are not our biological but mom and dad adopted you from outside. One stormy night they had found you wrapped in a baby blanket inside a fruit basket. You were wailing and whimpering out loudly."

".....Huh?"

They chuckled at him. They felt that if they teased him more, he would burst off crying.

"Hey! Quit it now." Lucas told them when he saw the tear building up in Sylius's eyes.

Ryan went to him and gave a manly pat on his back, "Hey, you crybaby."

While Kaden eyed him, "You should be awarded an Oscar. Your acting skills have been upgraded. You deceived these so famous and genius boys."

"Dude!! Why? I was having fun with all the pampering and showering of affection from these cold-hearted brothers of mine. You destroyed my fun!!" Sylius screamed at Kaden.

Kaden stayed unbothered. Sylius was rewarded with four whacks on his head. He peered at his brothers who seemed to be consumed by annoyance that they didn't give any pity to him. That was what Sylius thought but in reality, it was entirely false since he believed he succeeded in deluding his smart brothers.

"Kaden? I thought you were on our side?" Lucas sighed at feeling the betrayal from his most trustworthy brother.

Kaden snorted, "Don't put the responsibility of your stupidity on my head. I never said these words. It is you who misinterpreted me."

Kaden adjusted his watch. When he observed it, it brought a subtle smile on his Godly featured face. The smile went away just as quick it came. Though his brothers did catch a glimpse of it. They were more terrified than astonished.

The brothers peeped at each other from the corner of their peripheral vision.
