My Bad Hand

Ja Feng stared at Xin Lun in shock as he realized what happened. He look at his right shoulder and noticed a deep wound in it.

He gritted his teeth and gained distance while covering his shoulder, trying to slow the blood leakage.

Though, that didn't do anything to help and instead just made the wound hurt more.

'Why didn't he change trajectories?!' Ja Feng was extremely confused. After comprehending Xin Lun's attacks, he thought he'd be able to repel them for a while before Xin Lun decided to switch it up.

But, only after a few attacks did Xin Lun make the decision to switch his attacks again. As if he caught on almost immediately.

The crowd gasped in shock and fear as Ja Feng received the first wound.

They didn't think he'd be the first to be injured, but they were wrong. Xin Lun reacted rather quickly and executed the best possible attack.

"Xin Lun noticed so quickly! Even if he noticed that quick he should've at least thought he could try and confuse Ja Feng some more right?"

In the midst of everyone's shock and confusion, a loud explosion noise sounded from above them.

'What the hell?' Xiang Xiang thought as she looked up from the hill.

In the sky, a gigantic white ball was hovering silently. Though, it gave off a mystical feeling and made everyone, except the Gaphoms, feel like they were familiar with it.

Xiang Xiang was both intrigued and wary so she waved her hand, signaling for the announcer to stop the match.

He noticed this and immediately followed commands.

After a few reluctant looks, both opponents descended the stage and focused on the ball in the sky.

They had the feeling that it was like their firstborn baby.

They'd never let anyone even touch it.

Suddenly, the white ball began spinning increasingly fast, making everyone feel as if their hearts were being twirled around.

"What's this feeling?"

Many people were confused at this phenomena but didn't dare to look away.

The ball kept spinning until it gradually turned into the slim shape of a needle. And without any prior warning, the ball suddenly burst open.

It exploded into a giant mist that seemed to have spread out across the entire world. Slowly, it came in contact with every human in the world.

It touched their hearts and the line of mist stayed there for an entire hour. Afterwards, it finally began moving again.

And with it departure, every human in the world felt as if something important was taken from them against their will.

Xiang Xiang's expression immediately became solemn and her face darkened. She suddenly realized what was happening.

"Did the human race just lose its fate? Everything is happening do fast, I don't have enough time to quietly cultivate subordinates. Perhaps I should go seek out opportunities. I doubt it'd be heard for me..."

Xiang Xiang had her hand under her chin and though long and hard.

She suddenly stood up and shouted.

"Listen to me! Our fate has been taken and now it's up to us to protect it. In order to do that, we need strength. Sadly, time isn't on our side, so I'll explore the nearby forest in search of any opportunities. But before then, I'll leave you all with special techniques."

Xiang Xiang didn't want to go out and take matters into her own hands yet, but unfortunately she had to.

...

2 Weeks Later.

Xiang Xiang laid in the grass after writing the last bit of information for a technique she made.

For the past two weeks, she had spent almost every day trying to turn her weapon experience and proficiency into techniques.

She had just finished writing the last part of the Triple-Bladed Spear technique.

She finally completed her library of techniques that would ensure the progression of her subordinates.

There were a few Qi Cultivation techniques that she saw from her previous life as well as all of her fighting experience written into technique manuals.

Xiang Xiang even went as far as writing a manual on cultivating killing intent and merging it with Qi. She felt proud of herself after finishing such a hefty task in the shortest possible amount of time.

"I'll be gone for possibly a month. Although I wrote all of this, I still feel nervous about leaving these guys by themselves..." Xiang Xiang couldn't help but feel nervous.

She quickly firmed her resolve and created a new shack atop the hill. This time, it was much more grander.

It was the size of around a public library and was designed even for people that wished to stay the night or two in it.

Xiang Xiang finished the library after a few hours of wholehearted and meticulous building. The Gaphoms watched her from afar, wondering what she was doing.

But as they observed her filling the entire library with technique manuals that they've never seen before, a fire erupted in each of their hearts.

Though they weren't humans, they were still within the same power as the humans in the village. They felt apart of the community after being in it for so long.

'Where did Miss Xiang Xiang get those technique manuals from?'

They were each confused for a bit, but decided to just ask Xiang Xiang after she finished.

It took her an hour to stack just one side of the library, and there were two other sides. Not to mention there was a small second floor.

The second floor contained most of the books about her experience in her past life, along with most of her technological knowledge.

Although she liked the idea of living in a cultivation world, she still like modernized lifestyles as well.

And she was confident that at least one person would be able to grasp some of the knowledge within the books.

She hoped that by the time she came back, she would atleast see a metal cup somewhere within the village. That alone would make her have trust in her subordinates.

"I'll be departing now, close the village gates after I leave and don't let anyone in. Also, I've supplied a great amount of cultivation resources for all of you. I'll arive back here in a months time, and I wish to see atleast one person at the 5th stage of the Foundation Building realm!"

Xiang Xiang didn't say any more and quickly departed for the forest. Her goal was to come across anything that could benefit her and her subordinates.

"Adventure time, too bad I don't have any friends, but luckily I can visit many distant lands in the future."
