The Test.

Vorden and his group quickly ran to main grounds only to see other students running some floating orbs in the middle of the arena. People touched the orbs and instantly vanished. All the members in a group touched the same orb. Group 100 ran to one of the orbs closer to them. Before they touched the orb, Amy Reynold, the golden haired girl and the only female in the group, told them to try and regroup when they are teleported. They all nodded but inside, they were actually confused. Aren't they going to be transported to the same place?

Vorden opened his eyes and looked around only to find out that the was alone in a forest. There were thick, tall trees, thick bushes and long dark green vines.Wildflowers could be seen everywhere;it was a very beautiful sight to behold. One bizarre thing was that there were no beasts in the place.

"Lith? Lith!!!" Vorden called out for his brother. There was no answer. He climbed a tree to get a clearer view of the forest and saw the most magnificent thing ever. The source of light in the place wasn't the sun but a large orb with runes rotating around it. There was also a tall tower almost reaching the tower. Looking at it, he felt that he was just a step away from it. He had an intuition that Lith was around that place. Forgetting that he was on a tree and not on ground, Vorden approached the tower only to fall face down onto the ground. He got up with a swollen, throbbing nose and a pounding head like he had been hit an Earth Hammer.

Vorden looked around again and saw a small path leading towards the tower or so he saw. As an act of protection, he took out his Common Silver-grade katana. Taking the path towards the tower, Vorden took a fighting stance and walked slowly through the forest using the path.

After 20 minutes of walking, cutting bushes and destroying long, dangling branches that blocked his path, Vorden saw an opening. He rushed into it as he could see the foot of the tower only to find himself in a world. Everything was different except for the tower which was still wherever it was. Looking at his surroundings, he finally came to a realization. He was in a swamp. "What's actually going on?" Vorden inquired. He saw the path again this time with a shade of blackish green carpet grass. He continued along the until he reached the middle of the swamp. It looked serene and peaceful but reeked danger. In the swamp, the air felt warm lifting a musty smell of rich humus from the ground beneath his feet. He tried following the path but found out that it had multiplied by four. The paths were all basically leading to somewhere in the swamp. After a bit of contemplation, Vorden chose a path to the right. He walked and walked, stepping over hummocks and around knots of tumpgrass. Not even a whisper of wind cooled the sweat on his face. He still held his weapon, thinking a beast would pounce out of nowhere. After a bit of walking, he put down his weapon as his hands were getting numb from holding it for so long. Passing through a shade of trees, Vorden felt intimidated. His sixth sense kicked in as he swiftly rolled to the right just in time to dodge a purple-tip arrow.
