Purple-tip Vines.
Swishing and thwipping sounds could be heard as more arrows were shot at Vorden. The rain attack didn't look like it was going to stop anytime. Twisting, slashing, dashing; Vorden concluded it to be works of Purple-tip Vines or a Purple-tip Vine. The dark shades did no good to hinder Vorden's sight so it didn't take him long to find the long, smooth, stretching and coiling branches above him. Actually, the forest providing him with shade was none other than those tall, thick trees,Purple-tip Vines. From his teacher in basic school, he learnt that Purple-tip Vines can only be killed by destroying a huge knot below the branches of the vines. It was actually the power station of the vines.
"Shadow Steps" Vorden instantly used his Shadow Skill,provided with the shade from the enemy,he moved through the shadows.
A wisp with an artim under it ran on the thick, circling,floor-like body a huge Purple-tip Vine,the largest among the Purple-tip Vines. In most cases,killing the largest Purple-tip Vine will also kill the other smaller ones as they can be roots of the bigger one.
As the wisp got closer to the knot,a tall, winter-grey haired boy emerged from the wisp,katana raised to his back,he slashed at the knot, producing an arc of shockwaves which cut the knot in two places perfect halves. The long arrow producing branches connected to the knot,fell down with a loud thump. The same happened to the others; they all fell along with their branches leaving only the King Purple-tip Vine standing, branchless. Vorden expecting a dext(beast crystal:the beasts are called Dext Beasts meaning they have the crystal,Dext in them) as he landed turned towards the path with a tired,angry look on his face.

-In Another Part Of The Swamp-
"Aaah!Why am I sinking?Get off you slimy mongrel!" Lith screamed. He was caught in a quicksand and slowly sinking. He tried grabbing onto vines but they all slipped as his grips weren't strong enough. Within some few minutes, Lith's head was the only part of his body that was visible apart from his hands which were struggling to grip the vines. As his whole body got completely submerged in the quicksand,a portal appeared above him about to teleport him to another place or something but small fiery flies came in between Lith and the portal. The flies multiplied to a billion or so within a few seconds. Strong heat waves radiated from the flies as they all combined to form one being,like a phoenix just that form wasn't visible. It drove the portal away. Vapour started coming out of the quicksand. A dirty, muddy slimy wormed face and head of a boy appeared out of the quicksand. The heat got intense with every passing second. A hand shot out of the quicksand and grabbed the nearest vine. Because of the heat,the hand dried granting the boy a firm grip on the vine. The other hand followed suit and after a minute and half of climbing and kicking,Lith emerged from the quicksand and dropped onto the ground completely worn out. Resting for three minutes,Lith continued his pace to reach the tower. The test wasn't finished.

After a few minutes of walking, Vorden felt a sudden heat surge. He was obviously oblivious to his surroundings as he was pissed for not getting his first ever dext.
Looking around,he saw the sudden changes in the environment. The orb now depicting the sun; producing intense heat that scorched his skin. The place was full of sand and cactuses, basically the only living things around apart from him. Looking in the distance,he saw huge heaps of sand which formed tall sand dunes. He saw the tower,this time very far from him. The position seemed to be accurate this time. He then realized that he was being played at first.
"Reality Formations? It looked so real." He exclaimed as it was the first time experiencing the power of the Magic Formation. All things being the same,he was nowhere near the tower. There was no path to follow this time, meaning he had to find his own way round. He started with long strides to get to the tower very as hadn't rested a bit.
However,the scorching heat was getting unbearable. He even started hallucinating. After a moment of thinking,he remembered that every guda had the ability to wrap him or herself in art energy which had the ability to protect one from imminent danger and other things like this.
Choosing the Transfiguration art after a bit of contemplation,he used the energy from it to create an energy shield around him. The shield was white in colour. From the outside,one would only see a white ball but the user could see anything on the outside. He felt a sudden soothing sensation spread over his body cutting off the heat from the sun. Even though he was using energy from the Transfiguration art,he felt his strength coming back. Forming an energy shield took only 5% of the energy of the art used.
