Miss fairy

WU LAN'S RESIDENCE

Wu Lan was in his garden, he picked up his sword and caressed it when a lady entered his residence and walked to him. She is Jing Yuemi, the daughter of Lord Jing, who was one of Emperor Cheng's officials. She had been a childhood friend of Wu Lan. She liked Wu Lan but Wu Lan had always treated her like a younger sister

Yuemi:(curtseys) Greetings, your highness.

Wu Lan:(turns back to look at Yuemi) Yuemi, you are here

Yuemi: Why does your highness looks bothered?

Wu Lan: I'm not bothered, I just feel bored.

Yuemi: Will your highness like to play chess?

Wu Lan: No

Yuemi: How about we go fishing?

Wu Lan:(gazes at Yuemi, then smiles) Okay.

...

AT THE SEA

Wu Lan and Yuemi were fishing, Wu Lan was looking around not concentrating. Yuemi noticed.

Yuemi: Your highness, what's wrong?

Wu Lan: Nothing

Yuemi: Why are you looking around? Did we get followed?

Wu Lan: No, no, not at all (he continues fishing)

Yuemi:(looks around, then looks at Wu Lan) Your highness, how do you feel about your upcoming marriage?

Wu Lan:(sighs) How do you expect me to feel?

Yuemi: Are you sad?

Wu Lan: Of course, not. I'm glad I'll soon be getting married. (smiles and pat's her head) I hope you'll be getting married soon too so you'll stop clinging onto me.

Yuemi: I have always wished to get married to the one I love.

Wu Lan:(smiles) Nice wish. I wished for that too, but now, my hopes are being shattered.

Yuemi:(thinks) Mine too

Wu Lan: Don't worry, I'm sure your father won't force you on any man. If he does I'll set him straight (chuckles)

Yuemi:(nods her head)

Wu Lan:(looks around once again, sighs and thinks) Miss fairy, when will I get to see you again?...
