...The Castle...

Dylan was very surprised when Laila suddenly jumped at him and hugged him tightly while hiding her face in his chest. She was trembling while saying incomprehensible words. Dylan hugged her to calm her down a bit:

- Laila! As much as I don't mind spending the night in this position, can you tell us at least what did happen?

Laila opened her eyes. At that moment, she realized that she was hugging Dylan. Her? The person who hated any kind of physical contact with others. She pushed him away while looking around her:

- I'M...I'M SORRY...I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THIS...IT'S....JUST...THAT....THAT...I SAW SOMETHING COMING OUT OF THE TOMBS CHAMBER. I....I...THINK IT....IS....THE KING'S SOUL.

Dylan burst into laughter:

- Did you believe that story? I was just teasing you because you were scared of dead people.

Laila felt embarrassed. She showed them her weakness.

- Maybe what you said wasn't true, but I'm positive about what I saw earlier. Floating lights were coming out from the chamber.

Aaron laid back while yawning:

- Alright...Alright, let's go back to sleep, we still have a long journey tomorrow.

- ARE YOU GOING TO SLEEP AFTER WHAT I SAID TO YOU? THERE ARE GHOSTS IN THIS PLACE

- As long as it is not a threat to us, we don't actually care whatever it is.

Aaron, Dylan, Sarra, and Annie went back to sleep while Laila was still terrified after seeing that scary thing. She got closer to Sarra, then she closed her eyes, hoping to get some sleep.

In the morning, when she opened her eyes, she found herself lying right beside Dylan...his face was so close to hers. She panicked, then she stood up right away:

- HOW...HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? I WAS SLEEPING BESIDE SARRA!

- You move a lot in your sleep, you even kicked me in my stomach. Don't you remember?

Laila's face turned red out of embarrassment:

- I'M...I'M SORRY.....I WAS SO TIRED YESTERDAY.

Dylan stood up:

- It's okay, it wasn't your fault. Come on, we have to start our search early today to know what are we looking for exactly...

The group went to the nearest restaurant to have breakfast. Sarra got closer to Dylan while the others were busy choosing from the menu.

- I saw it.

- Saw what?

- Laila didn't get closer to you. She was sleeping like a dead person. It was you who moved beside her

Dylan became nervous:

- It's just that I wanted to make sure that she won't panic like that, another time.

- Dylan, about twenty years have passed since that incident. I think it is time for you to move on.

- WHAT ARE YOU SAYING? I....I..

Sarra didn't give him a chance to deny that he likes Laila. She just smiled at him and left.

Dylan took a glimpse at Laila, who was playing with Annie.

" Can that be possible? "

After finishing their food, they started their search.

- So, we have a lot of monuments to visit today, we will go back to al Khazneh to make sure that we didn't miss anything, then we will visit Qasr al-Bint after that, the High Place of Sacrifice, and finally Al-Dir.

- Can we finish all of them in one day?

- Let's hope so, there are plenty of other monuments waiting for us.

They started with the treasury, they made a tour inside it while checking the walls for any kind of symbols. But there was nothing. After that, they headed towards Qasr al-Bint.

- Wow, the place is very big

Dylan open a brochure and started reading about the monument:

- The Access to the temple is provided by a monumental marble staircase of 27 steps, which is divided by a landing. The plan is square and consists of a pronaos (or vestibule), a naos (or chamber), and a tripartite adyton which contains the cella, the most sacred part of the temple.

- Most of the place became ruins. We have to search for anything that could be related to ancient Egypt.

They started searching for any signs such as symbols or pictures, but they didn't find anything.

- Nothing is here as well...Now what?

- I don't know why, but I feel that we are searching for the wrong things.

- Let's go to the next monument, maybe we will find something there.

While they were about to leave, Aaron turned around for a final look and that's when he noticed something shining on the ceiling of the castle.

- Dylan, look at that thing.

Dylan and the others took a look.

- You are right, Aaron. Something is shining under the sunlight.

- what can that be?

- I don't know, let's check on it.
