He won't stop

"DON'T TELL ME YOU SNEAKED OUT OF PRACTICE AGAIN."

Having him back home this early should tell her there is something wrong but she put too much faith in the red piece of thread, called a bracelet.

When Brady doesn't say anything, letting his back pack slowly drop to the ground as he stares guiltily at his sister, her statement is confirmed.

She groans, "Brady come on." She activates her scolding mode, wiping her hands with a napkin. She rests on the kitchen counter, giving judging looks to her brother. "You need this scholarship."

Brady settles in the kitchen chair, letting out a sigh already knowing she is going to lecture him.

"So, you have to practice harder than everyone on the team for that scholarship. You know at this rate mum and dad won't be able to pay tuition fees anymore, so please take this seriously."

He groans, "Okay. Yes, I know."
