In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

SHE HEARS THE CLANKING OF METAL and the axe doesn't meet her. She lets out heavy breaths, staying still for seconds before looking up to see Geo using his hands to stop the woman's axe.

"This abomination must be killed this instant!" The woman yells, taking back her axe before retuning with full force, trying to cut Aubrey in half.

Geo pushes his hands out, holding back the giant axe with all his strength. Aubrey can see veins pop out of his neck, hands and head. "Nyxus! Enough! She is not an enemy!"

"She is not human. She is not a god! She is an abomination that needs to be killed!" The woman's voice booms loud to the extent Aubrey's ears start to hurt. She hits Geo's small frame with her broad, muscular shoulder, causing him to be propelled into the far end of the field.

Now Aubrey is left without a shield.
