DESPITE HAVING YELLED HER LUNGS OUT AT HIM, fighting for her right to stay back home, she ends up at Groom-vine Street.

"Excuse me, young lady?"

Aubrey looks back at the taxi driver once he calls for her.

"Are you sure you are at the right place? There seems to be no houses or people around here." He motions his head to the wide field covered in darkness.

Aubrey puts her legs together, the fabric of her jean rubbing against each other as she hugs herself from the cold. The whole street is quiet with subtle bird and cricket noises popping up occasionally. She can't see far into the field but with the aid of the taxi's headlights, she can make out that there is indeed not a single soul around.

There is no way she could've gotten the location wrong. She followed Kai's every instruction.

- "You have 30 minutes to get dressed and find your way to Groom-vine street, clover-ox field."

"And why would I follow your orders?"
