[Bonus chapter]

(CENTURIES AGO. BACK AT THE VILLAGE WHERE THE GODS HID AFTER BEING BANISHED)

Mr. Andino pushes the curtains wide open, walking on hot heels to get to the woman seated gracefully in the room. The room is cool but the tense atmosphere between him and the woman makes him start sweating. It is a small room built from stones and woods gotten from the deserted forests behind them—the floors are cold; no tiles or covering as their bare feet makes contact with the cool soil.

Once the man is contented with the level of proximity between where he's stood and the woman in front of him, he stops walking to place his hands on his hips. He stares grimly at the woman with her black hair covering part of her face as she looks down at a picture in her hands. He knows that she is intentionally ignoring his presence since she already knows what he came in for but Andino won't let his presence go unattended.

"Zondani, what do you think you're doing?"
