his side

AT THE TIME THE FOOTBALL GAME IS BEING PLAYED, Connor stands in the middle of nowhere with a shovel in his hands. The sun burns down on his fair skin and it also irritates his eyes, making him squint down at the mountains ahead of him. He also doesn't know where he is or how he got there but one thing he is sure of is what he came here to do— find a way to shut the gates to the underworld.

There are no houses around, neither are there trees but just sand, the sun and the tall mountains ahead of him. His shoes dig into the hot sand and for a moment he almost tears up from the stinging pain and discomfort. Simply, he is stood in the middle of a desert while he searches hastily for the invisible keys to the invisible gate.

He sinks the shovel into the ground, squatting down to use his hands to push the sand away as he digs deep into the burning sand. A few pained grunts escape his lips but he keeps going despite how hot the desert is.
