In attempt to get her toaster after it has been stolen, Aubrey accidentally entangles herself with the highest supernatural beings ever existed~ gods. 

These gods are dangerous, irrational beings, who have been banished for their sinful and diabolical acts. And they still remain atrocious in their actions when they find out the "missing piece" is hidden inside the body of a 19-year-old college student, Aubrey. This "missing piece" belongs to Kai— the highest god, the pure representation of evil who is incapable of emotions other than anger and grief. He wants to get reunited with his missing piece, which means he'll do anything to get closer to the girl. But his brothers and sisters are determined to hide Aubrey from him, so as to keep the missing piece safe, before Kai gets his hands on her.

Things start to go sideways as affection, greed and lust arises among the gods, especially when Kai's half-brother starts to fall in love with Aubrey.

The Great and Lonely: Kai

THE MAN DISGUISED AS DAISY SLOWLY LIMPS BACK INTO THE HOUSE, HER CLOTHES ALREADY TORN FROM THE FIGHT. She frowns when her eyes fall of the two near the wall and at the position they're both in— Kai has his arms around Aubrey, while he tries to pull her to her feet, "Aw, don't do that Kai. It only ruins the fun." Her face immediately turns grim as she lungs forward at Aubrey but Kai is quick in pinning her to the ground.

He lets go of Aubrey, dragging the small girl and kneeing her to the ground. Daisy tries again as she stretches her left hand to Aubrey but Kai grabs the hand and dislocates it, causing the girl to cry out in pain. "Make another move and I'll break another body part." He threatens.

The girl with her face pressed to the ground starts laughing hard which makes the three frown at her, "Like you once said Kai; Do you think I have to use my hands to get my commands through?" She smiles at him, "I only need my voice."
